that is very similar... I am welding a 90 aluminum to my cell adapter. then a hose from a chevy truck, to the cobra style cap.

If I could find a tight steel 2" 90 I would have done that. The mystery aluminum fill cover didn't look wise to try and weld.

What transmission are you using and where did you get the adapter kit for it to bolt to the engine

Looks like alot more room in a bay bus than a split. I'm trying the same in my 61 11 window. Thought about the 50 degree tilt but the exhaust is going to be real tight. Have you gotten any futher on yours? Thanks
