Love the video. About to do the same with a Camry I chopped into a truck and it’s v6. New sub here for sure!

Looks like you could do with a plasma cutter. Nice work so far.

Project Binky as doomed anybody on KZbin using a digital level to "Make the NOISE". Lol

Looking good so far! Loved the “make the noise” reference too. But are you going to reinforce that bit of box section with some tube so it can’t get crushed when the subframe mounting bolts are tightened up?

+Emma Jacobs yep, crush tubes of a sort, there’s a lot more to add!

Great progress. Why do you tig certain bits rather than mig them? Is there any reason you are going for 16s over something smaller and more original to the look of the car 13/14"

+Lowly Gamer as these are new / clean metal they’re perfect for TIG. I tend to mig thinner and dirty metals like repairs to panels, its also quicker and cheaper than TIG. Im using 16’s mainly because they came on the MGF, but it also gives me clearance for brake options and...stance 😁

Did it ever get finished?

It did not, at least by me. I hope the new owner has been able to progress it.
