Thanks for sharing your journey with us! You can really see how much time these little jobs all add up to you. Just taking apart the motor took you probably most of the day. Same thing with those windows. People don't realize how much these little things all add up and if you're paying someone by the hour it gets out of control really quick. Awesome to see you learning and can't wait to see the rest of the process!

Mitch, make a video with Robert. Just gather up some of his content and build him an episode. Your editing work is awesome, and his kombi skills are awesome. Surely you can collaborate for some big synergy. I’ve spent a few hours in that shop. You’ve been given access to something really special in the kombi world.

You can keep bolts and screws from breaking off by using WD40 spray and lightly tapping the item or, you can use heat.

Hi, first of all, your dedication is amazing.... you are really excited to learn everything and happy like a kid when doing this mechanic works...I totally understand you and I feel the same while working on my oldtimer scooter. I just have a question, maybe stupid but still.....I just don't understand if the date on the camera is wrong or if you are just publishing your videos now with some months delay. I mean currently your bus is already finished or what?

I see the SOLEX on the carburettor housing. My first car, a 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750A Berlina, had twin 2BBL side-draught SOLEX carburettors. They were sooooooooo dreadful and pain in the arse to adjust every week to keep engine running smoothly. Would prefer Weber...

Hi Mic: Nice to see you start up again to get your hands on the engine. Well is quite easy to work on a simple engine, Kant does anything wrong there. just take apart one way and rebuild it in the opposite direction. Anyway you did nice work, stay cool and healthy.Greetings from HCS =# Hubertus.

I can't believe your sand blasting without wearing a hood and proper protection. LOL putting jokes aside that's the only way to sandblast at least it clean and your not cover in sand afterwards.
