The small door module plug needs re pinning Drivers side: move pin 11 to pin12 Pin 13 to pin 16 Pin 7 to Pin 6 AFI RTY Pin 15 to pin 7 Pin 16 to pin 13 Red and yellow wire (can be white) From position 12 to 18 Pin 13 to pin 16 is drivers side only!

You need a robust trestle table DT, save you kneeling on the floor. Look after those knees DT, replacements are harder that. Four banger to two banger switch swop. Good stuff as isual

Just keep the existing loom that was already in the door. Find the 4 wires that control both windows up and down by using a test probe or multimeter and activate the switches to find the wires or use a wiring diagram. Once you have found the 4 wires that control the windows, de pin the 10 pin plug and put those 4 wires into the connector for the 2 window switch pack and plug it in. The wires for the other windows then need taping up or just depin them from the wiring loom altogether. They are not needed as you don't have rear windows. I would un tape the loom and put the 4 wires in the new connector and remove the other wires that are not needed and then tape it back up nicely. Most would just remove and tape the wires not needed and swap over the plug. Hope this helps. This way you still use everything of your except the connector and switch pack so everything will work as it was intended without doing anything to the rest of the loom. Love watching ah yeh 👍

I have not got a Scrooby doo when it comes to electrics... specially VDubs... I've tried numerous times to do simple tweaks and they are always a pain in the bum... seeing as I'm no electrician, but as mentioned would have thought you could have metered each wire to detect what does what and dee pin the others. Still.... very entertaining to watch Nath.

My eyebrow lip for backwindow has arrived from lithuania i had my doubts but you cant buy in the UK ive tried . its black plastic and it fits perfect for my BMW E38 . i just need to paint it the colour off my car . then find some way to stick it to the back window glass .people are saying 3M tape others saying tiger seal .

Off topic im considering swaping 6.1 rear lights onto my t6 and the 6 lights onto the 6.1 basicaly i own both vans ones a workhorse ones my toy . This would involve re pinning the connections onto the lights 😢.. would you be planning any t5 mods soon?

Could you not have multi metered the wires from the 4 bang harness to the front windows, found out which work them and then re pinned them to the 2 bang switch. Hope your well buddy 🫡

Unfortunately have to swap loom I had same thing when I went to put my 2 banger in the 4 banger wound me up as the back buttons were easy to reach but didn’t work 😂
