@mr-fix I cannot seem to find an A5 module in my obdeleven pro list. Have a 2015 GTE with ACC as well as the FA/HBA camera behind the windscreen. I noticed the HBA was giving me errors since I have bought the car. (Can only use manual high beam.) And also the auto dimming function of the rearview mirror is not working Is it safe to say the the camera/ rearview mirror is defective? Edit* removed double post

I would start with checking the wiring and power. Maybe it's as simple to fix as replacing blown fuse. Rear view mirror and front facing camera are separate units but may have some wiring in common (like ground connection or power) so if both are not working I would check things that are common for these two elements.

@@mrfixpl Thank you for your response. It seems they share a fuse with the electronic parking brake button(sc34). Just checked that fuse, and it seems (unfortunately) its working fine. I'm thinking I should remove the rearviewmirror cover to see if I can find a faulty wire/connector. Do you have any idea/ tips where else to start looking for the shared components of those?

As far as I know, the A5 camera module is very similar in most VAG cars. Check if the adaptation channel from the video is available in yours.

The adaptive lane keeping works, but it’s constantly beeping and prompting for takeover, which is annoying and dangerous as well. Why?

Actually letting go the steering wheel is dangerous. This vehicle is not equipped with auto-pilot and it will force you to keep your hands on the steering wheel.

Hi, the lane adaptive guidance works on my previous 2019 Touareg. I changed to a 2021 Touareg and I immediately noticed that is not working like my,2019.so I took it to the dealer but they told me nothing is wrong with my lane to assist. Seeing this video gives me joy but after I made the changes you mentioned here, nothing is shown and it still not working. Please do you know where I can activate this on my 2021 Touareg? I know its there somewhere because it works automatically on my 2019 and I don't have to do anything .pls help🙏

A ja trochę inne pytanie. Co się stanie jak pościsz kierownicę na dłuższy czas? U mnie w passacie B7 po około 8 sekundach piszczy, wyskakuje komunikat "przejmij sterowanie", ale asystent staje się "żółty" (deaktywny). Można wydłużyć ten czas np do 15-20 sekund? Albo aby piszczało, ale nadal trzymało między liniami?

Najpierw przypomnienie, a potem asystent się wyłącza. Ale widziałem już film z Seatem, który miał wgrany zmodyfikowane oprogramowanie kamery i pozwalał na dużo dłuższą jazdę "bez trzymanki". Modyfikacja nie jest dostępna publicznie niestety.

Front assist and ACC are using front facing radar. Lane assist is using front camera. Do you have the camera in your car?

I am also considering to buy a OBDeleven to activate lane assist/adaptive lane assist and hopefully even more features. @@aerospaceTUdelft I believe that the camera on the windscreen is all you need for Lane Assist. ACC radar is not required for Lane Assist. If it's installed it will work together with the camera for better performance but you can still have Lane Assist without the radar.

Does anyone know if you have to install an additional camera or do you just need a smartphone and the obdeleven software? Meaning if you have a golf Mark 7 with adaptive cruise control and ordinary lane assist already installed from factory and the camera fitted from the factory for that. Is this enough or do you need to install an additional camera does anyone know? Thanks
