Where does that back hose go, does it to to the auxiliary water pump?

I replaced mine 2 days ago with a billet one from ECS, and the test drive was to thanksgiving dinner and back (200 mile round trip from Valencia CA to Lake Forest CA and back, it did good but leaks half the coolant reservoir when parked only after a 100 mile drive each way, seems like it came from the water pump area, i had a new pump put in about 250 days ago so it shouldnt be the issue (still can) so now i'm about to tear the front end back off and see where this leak is from😂 if i didnt love my MK4 12V Jetta i wouldnt do this lol

check the green coolant temp sensor, also black plug next to it. its right above coolant pipe but you won't have to tear front end off. usually the orings go bad.
