I love burnouts as much as the next person, but I'd be fucking pissed if someone was doing it out the front of my damn house...

I have a tuned VY SS Commodore with the 6 speed manual in tuned form (370 horsepower) & I think having a V8 engine in them makes them a great family sort of car. I can never afford to drive it like that as I tend to put up a lot of kays in them (mine has done 337,498 kms),being a V8 powered car, they can go through CV joints once every few years (outer passenger side one is original, I blame the roundabouts). The clutch pressure plate let go in 2008 when I first bought it at almost 183,000 kilometres,so I got a new clutch kit fitted. When I did a rear main oil seal change 142,000 kilometres & 8 years after,I slipped a new clutch disc in for $130 AUD while on the dole & I'm still out of work. I'm an electrical tradesperson & I'm not working, yet the clutch disc costs as much as their weekly wage was in 1978,am I asking for too much money ? I think that sort of car is a good family car,yet Holden seem content with replacing the V8 engine with the Alloytec V6 engine with a couple of hair dryers bolted onto it. Why is it that I hear of Holdens such as this one :- www.streetmachine.com.au/features/1707/toyota-1jz-powered-holden-hz-kingswood-sleeper Aren't family cars anymore because once they have done the swap they have to sell the car & buy another one. Someone sold their 20B rotary powered VR Commodore wagon :- m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmqtl2uurdhgkJo# because they needed a "family car" What's the difference between one of them & one of them that has a V8 engine in it ?

Oh you poor little thing! Did you ever work out that Aussies don't do burnouts on their good tyres? We use stock steel rims with retreads or some other shit tyres.
