Back in the late 80's and early 90's when I attended art school, I would just sit there for hours trying to copy Jim Lee's work. He was like a myth and legend. Now more then 25 years later we get to see the master at work creating works of artistic wonder. Gotta love youtube.

@Batman good point. I'll just add in also, focusing on learning how to block in a picture by lightly drawing large simple shapes first, and then drawing small dark details on top of that, that is really the main thing to focus on and learn. It's kind of tricky at first, but if you just stay patient and keep practicing you will learn how to do it. Just keep having fun with it, because that's what keeps you going and not giving up on it.

The 04 is a pretty good size, though. I like using that with a 005 for finer details and textures. Just my 2 cents. I’m nobody.

Underrated channel. But i have a question, how did you start making income off of your art work? And how did you get into a job like this? I always have a passion and urges to draw to improve further and further, but the thought of doing this as a career would make me more than happy if i can live and make money off of my passion.
