Thanks for posting. I especially like the nice reverential unrushed tempos in this exquisite piece of church music by the divinely inspired genius,

The sequence in Salus infirmorum (starts at 16:01) is actually one of the most impressive ever written, on par with some from the C minor mass and the Requiem.

Just read that this composition was inspired by his visit to the holy house of Loreto in 1770

Why is "emotional reasoning" an oxymoron?

oxymoron: 'ground pilot', open secret, controlled chaos , wiki: An oxymoron (usual plural oxymorons, less commonly the Greek-style oxymora) is a figure of speech that juxtaposes elements that appear to be contradictory, but which contain a concealed point. didn't know before . juxtaposes: puts next to each other . latin is easier.

Atheists or agnostics: Ravel, Rimsky-Korsakov, Stravinsky, (likely) Brahms, Janacek, Khatchaturian, Prokofiev, Rubinstein, Shostakovich, (likely) Berlioz, (likely) Verdi, Vaughan Williams. Yep, not a single great composer among them...(/sarcasm)

Also majority of people that time were christians. A lot of scientists, etc too were Christians, but they were not great scientists becuase they were Christians. Same with music. Also a lot of music and architecture work contributed to the power of the Churches. I have gone into some of the oldest churches in Rome, very grand, powerful music as well, any non-Christian pagan would have been automatically converted into Christianity the moment they entered those magnificent man-made structures.
