I don't know what Mozart was passing through in his life when he composed this masterpiece, but thank God he decided to express it in form of a symphony. Such a genius!

I like the second and third movements the best - they seem to have an unusual structure, and I think they have the most interesting themes.

Rentner LP I would generally agree w you, especially as this is one of my true favourites of Mr Mostart’s symphonies. But perhaps it is the interpretation that galls. Original instruments & Co. do not always find favour.

Where did you listen to all of Bach's compositions? That guy was unbelievably prolific, and he lived a whole lot longer than Mozart.

+Mike Moore Bach wrote 1100+ compositions. Pretty impressive if you've listened to all of them.
