Joe Eversole The thing that I find disappointing, in the modern era, is how JUST ABOUT EVERYONE "ignores" each other while "confining" themselves in their OWN world (via smart phone w/headsets), and ignoring or "blocking" out the world around them. Oh well, if THOSE people want to become an "island all unto themselves," then that's THEIR choice or business.

Tony Richard was offered to join Ozzy Osbourne band, so he left WASP, but he never record or tour with Ozzy, also Randy piper wasn't fired, he left to join Alice Cooper, but after two moths o rehersal he finally didn't record or tour... Every body says that blackie is a kind of bussines man, is it wrong if you try to make your bussines going on?? have many of you been playing profesionally?? In music bussiness is a kind of permisive job, were you can use drugs, been drunk on stage etc etc, and the reponsable people who make things work are the ugly face of the show... I'm not a blackie fan, but it's a good singer, a right guitar player, not the best but he does what does well and wasp is still a credible band thanks to the new members

Was it Piper who sounds a lot like Blackie on backups? Surely it wasnt backing tracks played through the P.A. It sure sounds like it. The original lineup was unreal. W.A.S.P. forever. Blackie is such a vocalist. Holmes was killer back then. His sound was total original. That was an era that I'm SO thankful I lived through.Ive seen W.A.S.P. with Piper, Riley, Holmes and Lawless. I've seen Pantera 7 times. White Zombie 3 times. Nugent 7 times. Y&T 4 times. DIO 4 times. Tons of others. Not bragging, it's just that those bands and those times lay with you and become part of you. I've got it in my veins and I'm one grateful person.🎶✌

Mark Spohn --- I TOO, am 61. Born in San Diego and raised there until I turned 17. Throughout the 80's I was back and forth from there and here in Kentucky. I spent a majority of the 80's in San Diego. I partied A LOT and went to SSOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY concerts. I saw WASP open for Kiss in 84 (Or 85, I can't really remember EXACTLY). They, WASP, were thee == WILDEST == Band I had ever seen. Mind you, Alice Cooper was a pretty wild one in their own right but NOT as INSANE as WASP. I have seen Kiss MANY TIMES and up until I saw WASP, . . == THEY == . were the wildest stage show. But it really IS TOUGH to define JUST WHO was the wildest, or the BEST. Until wasp came along I had seen many a show such as Alice Cooper, Kiss, Aerosmith, Bob Seger (1977 Night Moves Tour - AMAZING show), Judas Priest, UFO, The Babies, The Cars, Motley Crue, Cheap Trick, Pat Benatar, Ozzie Osborne (With Randy Rhodes), AXE, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, AND A WHOLE LOT of other now legendary bands that I can't remember right now. Sorry --- I did lots of drugs as did just about EVERYBODY ELSE DID AS WELL. But WASP was so DAMN GOOD. . . == The -- 80's -- ROCKED == . I MISS THEM SO MUCH. . .

This is good can't wait for the 40th anniversary tour to come to the states.I saw wasp back in 1987 inside the electric circus tour. The bill was Raven ,Slayer and Wasp was a great show and the first and best time I saw Slayer when people went mad when they played.

It's so insane to think that PRODUCERS would Dare!!! challenge Blackie and give the band a hard time during recordings in the 80's , Blackie is a GENIUS!!!! Right or Wrong!!!

I saw these guys more than once on the LA club circuit (Troub, Country Club, Whisky, et al) Not sure I was at this one or not, I know I saw them at the Troub had to be either 82 or 83 if not both... What a shithole, but man there is nothing like seeing a band like this in a venue the size of a uhaul storage locker... Like someone else posted... Glad I'm OLD and got to experience the 80s growing up in LA... So many awesome bands that never made it out of LA...
