Respect and admiration... Not only for this awesome gentleman, there a lot of guys like him (old and young) working hard all over Japan, keeping this traditional and comforting food more alive than ever... Ramen stalls are one of the wonders of Japan that not many people from abroad realize how important and meaningful they are.

People like this are the valuable ones who change lives for the better...
I want to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate your incredible work ethic and dedication. Your commitment to hard work is truly inspiring, especially considering the challenges that come with age.
I don't know how I feel about this, a part of me aches when I see him struggling physically like that and wishes he didn't feel the need to put himself through it..The other part of me feels that continuing his stall like this is likely the one thing that keeps him going and gives him purpose in life. I can imagine that for someone like him, retiring likely equals dying sooner rather than later. I feel conflicted and in awe by this human being's resilience and drive.

I feel the same, but I also feel shame.

I also feel the same watching this man struggle to walk and set up then serve everyone, but I know he gets tremendous satisfaction from seeing his customer's smiles when they dig into his ramen. I feel a kind of shame that I don't work half as hard as granpa. May you live long in good health. I enjoyed watching your story . There's a similar story of a granpa that makes hotdogs in a famous park.

I remember watching other video with him few years ago. There he said he sleeps like only 3h. He was limping back then already.

This man is amazing and deserves a lot of respect at his age....I wonder if he has children and if yes if they come often to visit him at his ramen stand...
Doing what he loves, a polite and hard-working man, cooking great food . Give this man a Michelin star ! What a wonderful example for all of us. If I lived in this gentleman's neighborhood , I'd be there twice a week for sure ! Thanks for the video, Mogumogu !

What a diligence and dedication to his lifetime work, AMAZING!
한국 같으면 저렇게 만들어주면 만원은 받고 남을듯...소소하지만 욕심없이 살아가는 모습이 아름답습니다.

As I always love and enjoy to watch videos from you MOGU, about Ramen's stall. This one is especially wonderful and a bit sad at the same time. Like Bitter Sweet. I am amazed by this man ! But I can't restrain myself to feel a bit of pity for him. Respect is off the charts for him, but tinted with a bit of sadness and compassion for his condition. A true warrior for fighting our hunger ! ❤🔥
If you really want to know what it looks like to work hard for a living doing what you love then watch this man and his ramen truck. This man does everything himself and suffers with his back and leg and only makes profit maybe $60 to 100 on a given day. That's all. I have all of my life dreamed of having my own roadside food business like this but I do not possess the energy nor enough passion required to do this. He is a true artist at what he does day in and day out and so please watch this master of the noodle in motion and relish in what it means to enjoy the service and not to focus on the almighty dollar.
He is limping around serving food at next to no price. and people complain about work and all the small stuff. I am so impressed by this man. Someone give him a vacation.
