Sarmin I didn't really play the game, I played it at a friends house once and personally didn't like it. But it seems like the main opinion towards the game when it was released was that it was alright, and nothing compared to what they promised at E3.

Justin Gochioco I fucking love SR4, but I'm not entirely sure that it's,a satire in the Naked Gun sense. It's more of a mish-mash of parodies, unlike the Lesley Nielson films Airplane! and Naked Guns 1 through 33 and 1/3. Blood Dragon was a stricter satire of a specific idea, while SR4 was really broad.

I strongly disagree with this review. But I'm probably a bit biased, since _Wacky Funsters! The Geekwad's Guide to Gaming_ was one of my favorite childhood games. Though it has its flaws, it was never meant to be anything more than... well... wacky. You tried to hard and took it seriously, looking at it like Tsunami Media was trying to make a comprehensive "guide to gaming". Really though, it was just a few guys and gals poking fun at popular games and pop culture. That's what software folks did back in the day. Even something as innovative as _Wolfestein 3D_ never stopped to take itself seriously. Also... you also missed the best part. The CD version of the game has a history of the character of Geekwad... _and_ some kick-ass remixes of the game music!

Well from Ian's perspective he does know this game is supposed to be a "fun" parody or reference to the popular games of that time. However its still falls short on the "wacky" bit and tries way too hard to be funny or even a parody to the point of it being like a usual Adam Sandler movie.
