HILTEE The Wacom Cintiq 16 and 13 are still pretty good! I find the 16” perfect because it has just the right amount of space for me where it’s not too big and it’s not too small; I mean, my 4K resolution laptop is smaller than it! It’s lovely to draw on! But it is a bit expensive, and the 13” is a better budget tablet at about $650.

Great video, thanks for the info. My Cintiq 21UX is still going strong since 2010, but it's nice to plan for the future. Funny how they switched to selling the accessories separately. The 21UX came with an adjustable and rotatable stand, a well. Takes money to make money!

What about the screen temperature? I've worked on the large screens and it's normally gets hot for my arm to rest on the screen after a few hours.

i see it can be set to use your fingers, but can it be set to only use the pen, so your hand or say if I leaning over the screen to draw, my arms or hand not interfare with the screen so only the pen works?

Hello! Thank you for the wonderful review! I was wondering if you plan (or if you could) review the new XP pen 22R pro tablet? I was leaning towards the Huion 20/22 before, but it looks very promising, and Xp pen (I think) usually has better support. So if you could, I would really apperciate if you compared the two (or if Huion has a newer large display model, compare the 22R pro to that.

If you're moving up from something like a 13 or 16, yes you're going to notice a significant increase in movement. If you're not obese like I am, you should be fine. I currently work on an intuos and cintiq 16, but I remember my first screened tablet was a huion 22inch. That thing felt like a workout to draw on, but I miss having a tablet of that size. I could only imagine what a 32inch would feel like. It'd probably give me back problems. I'd bet on the 24 inch. The 32 may be too much, but the workspace would be amazing.

7:48 - No, you can do that with all the other Wacom Cintiq tablets. Not sure about Huion, but I'm sure they can too. I use extended desktop on my older Cintiq all the time :)

That was a really helpful review and nice presentation, thank you! I think they should have given you either the Ergotron or Ergoflex to try with it, otherwise it's quite difficult to really test it in prolonged use. Great to have the comment on screen brightness as it's not the kind of thing people usually consider. Did you find the 32" size difficult to work with Pshop menus etc?. (having to reach your arm a long way to change layers, for example?)

I never used Photoshop alone, I used the full 32inch screen with two or three applications. It's annoying to reach out to top menu items in PS if used in full screen mode.

I'd rather go for a 24, 32 is way too large. I have 22 as well which is way more comfortable. 32 is of course the best for industrial use but 24 is definitely more comfortable.

I'm new to drawing tablets my question is do you need to have a drawing app already in your pc or does it come with one to use? Or you have to also buy Adobe Photoshop or other apps also to use it?

You need software installed in the computer system. There are several free substitutes available for Digital Art and Animation, my favourite ones are Krita, Autodesk sketchbook and Blender.

Krita's a really, really cool software to use! :D It also has a great advantage when it comes to brushes, something Adobe Photoshop doesn't have. (the more expensive and professional brother- I wouldn't recommend using it for a beginner, but if you have access well then do what you please)

You can get Photoshop for a monthly payment. I think it is a shame you can't buy the program anymore. But, I got a deal and for all of their software, in a bundle, I pay $19.99 a month.

Hi Claybrush Productions, I wanted to ask you... Is the Wacom cintiq pro that loud talking about the fan noise? I can´t wait to upgrade my Cintiq companion 1 to the Cintiq pro 24 (mainly for bigger size) but the KZbin reviewers scared me... My companion is completely quiet, It´s not cheap the upgrade and there´s no store around to test them before buying... Some of them comparing the noise with a gaming PC at full performance ?¿?

I heard the fan noise one or twice, but comparison with a gaming PC is totally wrong. It has a mild fan noise and that also kicks in after using it for a while.

Hellol! Help me please to understand about WACOM CINTIQ PRO 32 monitor. The monitor surface has a pattern (grid). This pattern is visible when the monitor is turned on and also when it is completely turned off. Sorry for the trouble you, I can't take the monitor to the service center right now. Is its surface total black or does it have a grid? I want to find out if THIS GRID IS A MONITOR DEFECT OR IS IT NORMAL. I hope for your answer. Thank you very much in advance!

I don't remember any grid lines on my monitor. Try to use different cables and all possible cable connections, also check if the connection is properly earthed.

On the bright side, yours actually does rotate and zoom. I see the trouble you are having, and the remote control is about the same "why bother". But still, I'd like to have it work so then I could chose to not use it.

So what are the exact differences between the Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 and Wacom Cintiq Pro 32? Is the only difference the size and nothing else at all (like the hardware, etc)?

While working I didn't notice noticeable difference, technically there are some differences like 32 has some5-6 mil sec better response rate(didn't notice), 24 has slightly better brightness(never used at full) and there must be more tiny differences which you can easily point out on their official product website.

You need a computer(CPU) which supports 4K, you can even use Cintiq as the only monitor for the computer.

I used USB C with USB3.0 with IMAC. A DP port cable is more preferable for optimum performance of the display.

Can’t speak to availability in India, but I can chime in on the rest: yes, it’s compatible with laptop/pc. Bc it’s compatible, you can use pretty much any software you use on your comp. It’s an external monitor-meaning you can use it as a mirror for your pc/laptop or an extension of your screen (in a HUUUUGE way)

I got mine today. The thing is huge. haha I had a brain injury in 03 and have but 8% of my vision. I can't even see the entire thing as close as I am. haha So, I have everything installed and set up. My question is this. How can I set this to be 4K? I have it set up, with the HDMI cable. Also, USB, as one needs that.

Congratulations!! For 4K you just need a computer pushing out 4K res. It runs 4K automatically. Use it as the primary monitor for your computer.

@@claybrush Indeed. I found, that the HDMI on my Mac, is only like, 1.4. Which, is not strong enough to use 4K. Someone, actually a few people, on the Apple forums, suggest I get a DisplayPort to mini DisplayPort thing. My Mac. has four thunderbolt ports. So, that is what I did. I just go from the Cintiq to that port. But, for the fact that there is a virus all over the world, the thing will take about 6 weeks to arrive.

The issues you mentioned with the rotate & zoom functions being "a bit glitchy", is this down to the Cintiq itself, or your iMac? Seeing as you don't have the built-in Cintiq engine, your iMac is "driving" the Cintiq. Would a more powerful machine doing the driving, help with the issues you mentioned?

It's the Cintiq I believe, it may be the rerfesh rate of the display. I haven't used it with the Wacom engine yet.

That's a shame that the touch sensitivity was acknowledged and improved with this newer version. My Cintiq 27HD Touch has terrible touch sensitivity and it's too bad! Wish it could be more like the ipad.

Do you already have a (big) screen tablet? If not the 13/16 cintiq pro are already a good way to start! I've even heard good things from the wacom one which you can plug into a phone as well. Or maybe try to look on craiglist/2nd hand websites, I've found 27qhd cintiq with ergotron in still pretty good quality for less than one 1k while they are originally over 3k without the stand! You don't need such a big screen, even if you need/want one, a 22 inches is well enough! It all depends on your need and accessibility uvu

The issue really is for people that have been using an intuos with no screen paired to a 32 inch LCD. All that space I had looking up at my tv I was able to have like 2 giant references and yet still have room for my actual drawing. I wonder if a 24 inch would suffice. I have a 16 cintiq and a lot of times it feels restricted when I need to use references, but it is a great device.
