I caught 6 bass on a jerkbait after work Friday of Memorial day weekend. The bass inhaled the bait. I think it was pre spawn males. Had a heck of a time getting them unhooked. Didn't have pliers on me. I may try either filing down the barbs on the treble hooks or just crimping them.

that's a Zara puppy, walking the dog is what the side to side action is called. I always let it sit a few seconds before retrieving. Also another good creek top water is a tiny torpedo or a small pop-r

I've had people ask how I could enjoy fishing so much, even though I'm not always catching anything. The answer is much easier to explain with your videos, the scenery is amazing! I enjoy being outside missing bites, more than I do staying inside doing anything. Besides, it's called FISHING... not catching.

Look at you, booooooyyy! 118,000+ Subscribers! You're doin' great! Gotcha some good Smallies today, man. Looks like you had a great time. It's so all-fired hot up here in Virginia, that I'm only going wherever I need to go, when necessary. Probably about 90° outside, even now! We just had a huge Thunderstorm just miss us here in Staunton, Virginia, here about 2-3 hours ago. Man, yesterday was a great day to be out and about. Never got much above 70-73 degrees yesterday. Now-Hot. As in "I don't think Tarzan and Jane could stand this kind of hot! Anyway-You have a great evening, and God bless you and yours!

Have you ever fished Indian Creek in middle Tennessee Olive Hill area. Big smallmouth bass. I usually start out under the bridge and go left. Some shallow fishing and deep holes. It is full of smallmouth and rock bass.
@johnrudy94042 жыл бұрын
Funny John, camera perspective appearance, you seem a mile away from the h2o. Also, theres been a move toward single hooks on plugs. The spook is a salt water staple. Guys report NO fewer hook ups with singles. Plus, crimping the barb helps.

Great video brother. The water is gin clear like my favorite 2 up here in IL . Long casts are a must and the 10# braided line on my topwater. I have a jig rod rigged with 6# copolymer line P Line and backup spool with same braid. I definitely use some twitch or pop and pause. I usually get bit on the pause or the "next" twitch. Your creek wins for aestetics and scenery. Plenty of chipmunks, mammals and some snakes. Love exploring with you

Enjoy your videos, i remember suggesting minnows one time and so you bought some and gave it a try ,with no success..well i wasnt talking about bait sbop minnows, get yourself a minnow trap and put a small ammount of dog food in it or maybe some bread and catch you some creek minnows the 2 to three inch ones will be the best, ive seen the smallies tear them up...anyway..keep up with the good work you do, and thankyou so much!😉👍

Most people fish the top water kind of fast like you were doing. Sometime slow your retrieve and use more side to side rod action also let it set 5 to 10 seconds before starting to reel it in. Love your show been watching ever since Justin from kayak catfish went with you and he flipped his kayak . Yall 2 along with Aaron are my favorite shows to watch.

Change those hooks out to single hooks. That’s what I’m doing on all my top water creek baits. It’s so much safer! And more safe for the fish too. I think I’m going to do that on my UL crank baits too, because they are about half dangerous when you land a fish
@bumfit54912 жыл бұрын
