The plaintiffs say they hired the defendant to plan their wedding, and they allege she stole their money and did nothing. They’re suing for a full refund. The defendant says the plaintiffs kept canceling on her and it was nightmare.

I had 3-4 meetings with the couple and 3 weeks before the wedding I meet them at a park for a romantic photo shoot so they can pick one picture for the table sittings with picture and my information and just to explain to them how I work on the wedding day cause it's one thing being invited to a wedding than being in the wedding where you have to be there on your feet talking with your guests and family. I consider it sheer folly to spend a huge amount of money on a wedding: it's one day of your life and that money would likely be far better enjoyed on a honeymoon or more prudently spent on expenses like putting a downpayment on a home, especially given the extremely high rates of divorce. Spending a ton of money on a day that you will likely not even be able to enjoy because you will be so stressed that something will go wrong boggles my mind. People can ABSOLUTELY do what they want.
