WAGGLER FISHING - Catch more SKIMMERS even in windy conditions.

In this session I wanted to practice my Waggler technique catching skimmers on a very cold day. Zero degrees and in windy conditions, not ideal but I caught plenty of fish.

I haven't fished a waggler for years, maybe it's time to blow the dust off.

Much the same for me until this Winter, now find it more enjoyable than pole or feeder fishing, especially when pleasure fishing. I think the older techniques still have a place on the right venues. I plan to try it more this Summer on more natural venues for the first hour of a match and see how well it works.

Nice little video mate . Love this style of fishing. What size rod were you using and lb of line?

Thank you. I was using a 13ft rod, personally I just find in the Winter there is more give plus helps me with the casting distance. I was using 6lb line, mainly because most venues I fish there is a good chance of hooking a carp or two.
