Wagner Tuning - VW Golf 8 GTI Intercooler Installation

I did an Intercooler upgrade by myself on my 2005 Volvo V50 T5. It was definitely not this complicated. I think I'm just going to pay to have it done on my MK8 GTI.

Just ordered! Apparently this is only fitting the older 8R's, but did not see this info on your site.. only BMP's after contacting them! "This will only fit Pre-11/1/22 Golf R’s and or Golf R’s that were equipped with Factory Radiator SKU# 5Q0-121-251GN."

Vw shouldve made it with the condenser behind the intercooler so it could be visible

This is a proyect…. Not only does the whole front have to come appart, but also the a/c condenser has to be disconected which means you have to have the system Emptied and recharde after

@@krisrivera2301 AC condenser does not have to be disconnected, see video min 4.00… Same work like changing the OEM Intercooler.

This intercooler requires 0 trimming on the MK8 Golf R? I have installed one before on my 2015 S3 and it required a lot of trimming. The trimming took more time than the intercooler install.

Hilft das denn insgesamt, dass der Motor nicht mehr ganz so heiß wird? Kalte Ladeluftkühlungen hilft ja nur dem Turbolader in erster Linie…
