Good video, liked the format and editing! Man, sorry.. It is heartbreaking! But, that's how we learn, from mistakes! One thing to try was losing drag on deep reel all the way and whoos' reel too, then hand line both lines at the same time! There are no guarantees! But, I know.. We minutes to spare and pressure. It's not easy to came with the best idea or decision. But now you know why it's not "recommended" doing this kind of fishing! I'm liking your videos, keep it going!

Awesome catches and footage. I was in the military and was stationed at Schofield barracks back in the late 80's. If I had today's kayaks I would definitely been out there. Looking for that light pole you use for my Outback. Any idea where I can get one?

I totally know the heart break had a fish dump half my 80lb braid on my penn international visx an I had around 550yds total on it an got the fish within the last 100 ft on my leader an the hook pulled an I'm pretty sure it was a wahoo seeing how the first run it dumped like 300 yds of line

That's why you don't do trolling (live bait) and deep dropping! You can have a mid water troll, but no need for more than 250 ft out.
