This is very sad. Eddie was such a terrific man and did so much good. What do these vandals hope to accomplish with acts like this. Clearly they wanted to say something as they wrote Enough Already. Does somebody have it out for the Akau family? That hurts so many of us, surfers or not, lifeguards or not, Hawaiian or not.

Growing up in Hawaii...Eddie Aikau was Mythical in Status, almost to the level Maui was.... I didn't know anything about him till I became an Adult. This kinda shit is so Pilau. Its kinda like when those kids defaced the Statue of Kam on the Big Island. I hope they punish who ever did this.
