Hi Dome. I just came across your video and you’ve blown me away. I don’t even know you, but I am so proud of you. I live very near to Robin Hood’s Bay and am well aware of the ‘ Wainwrights’ hills and all his walks. I know how hard they are to do because I’ve done a few myself,and you did bloody marvellously. Watching your video cheered my soul, you have such a beautiful bubbly character and a wonderful personality. You take care lass and stay just exactly as you are, you’re FAB.Do some more Wainwright hills and unfold your wings. Much love to you. Bill. 😃👍❤️👌xxx

I used to live up in Hartlepool and walk, most of the route but not in one go. What you did is monumental and all credit to you. After nine days of that the slightest thing would have pissed me of too

Congratulations on completing the C2C but particularly on making such a great film of it at the same time. I have a fledgling KZbin channel myself and know just how difficult it is to hike and film at the same time, particularly when you’re feeling tired and can’t face filming. You did brilliantly, well done. I’ve subscribed.

Loved your video, very interesting and informative. I'm doing the c2c this summer. I walked the Pennine way last year and I totally get the emotional bit, I felt the same when I saw Kirk Yetholm.

I make lentil pasties with tofu and take nuts as trail snacks. The less meat and dairy the more land we can restore to nature.

I don't now how/why people do these hikes in what are essentially very light weight trainers. Keeping your feet dry does so much for your over all mentality on a hike. Get some proper boots. Once you break them in you won't regret it. 👌

So, to clarify: one bus, two trains, and three tube journeys, and they were all terrible. There's a common denominator in all of this, and it might be you. Perhaps you are the problem, not everyone else.
@RedRuthie342 жыл бұрын
Your shoes look a little light weight for the walking you are doing….maybe better to use a light boot, which would have kept your feet drier, for this type of hike
@jamesallsop78712 жыл бұрын
Only reason for boots is ankle support otherwise trail running shoes are much better. Trainers dry out much quicker too. And before anyone says use goretex boots, problem is they have 2 big holes in them and weigh a ton when wet. Just my opinion though, each to their own.
@stushikesandrides Жыл бұрын
I second trail runners for the C2C no need for boots and it makes the walk harder not easier in my view.
