Lilo & Stitch is one of my all time favorite movies from Disney, so it's no surprise that I would be extremely excited over an animated series that continues the adventures of Lilo & Stitch. This was also one of Disney's attempts at capturing the vibe of Pokemon, so let's take a look at the larger world of Lilo & Stitch and see what it was all about!

Two other huge points in why they series is great 1: Constant Continuity - Events from previous episodes are usually acknowledged and you will always see redeemed experiments from previous episodes working in the background (even joining in to help with new missions sometimes) 2: Still using the messages of the first movie - From Nani still needing to keep her job and work to support the family (which is often put at risk by the others shenanigans) to Lilo still having moments of depression remembering her parents (go watch the Remy episode for those feels) and seeing how she copes

I very much remember this series and it still has a very near and dear place to my heart. I remember losing it as a kid whenever we were going to learn about all of the other 625 experiments. That was the very first thing I thought of when watching Lilo & Stitch for the very first time. It was definitely a fun show and I really wish they showed a lot more but they can only show so much One of my favorite little details I still remember to this day is that the experiments can be divided into series; Series 0 was a test batch, Series 2 were scientific telated, Series 5 were elemental manipulators, etc

Although this series came after other animated shows based on their animated features like _The Little Mermaid_ series, Timon & Pumbaa, _Aladdin_ the series and _Hercules_ the animated series series, _Lilo & Stitch: The Series_ came out way before we got more Disney animated shows based on their Animated features such as _The Emperor's New School, The Lion Guard, Tangled the Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, Big Hero 6: The Series_ and _Alice's Wonderland Bakery._ As to my opinion on this series, I loved the show especially with how each episode focuses on Lilo & Stitch capturing the remaining 623 experiments that have been spread around Hawaii and while most of the episodes were episodic (as it's Lilo & Stitch collecting the experiments) it did had a few recurring storylines (not in the level as say Gravity Falls, Amphibia, The Owl House or even The Lion Guard and Tangled the series) especially the ones involving Angel, Nosy and rescuing the other experiments captured by Gantu. Lastly, my favorite episodes were definitely the ones where the show had crossovers with American Dragon, Kim Possible, The Proud Family and Recess, especially the latter show considering when _Lilo & Stitch: The Series_ was still airing, Recess ended 5 years ago in 2001 so it was impressive they brought the Recess gang for their most recent appearance to date. Hope you do one on _Penn Zero_

The unfortunate thing about the Lilo and Stitch franchise is that the experiment was bringing the money, not the girl who went through trama and got a new close pet friend, and it's really strange, it kinda feels a bit like she's apperantly unmarketable even though the series kinda made her fearless and badass at times.

That series was how I got introduced to Lilo and Stitch… as well as my #2 “childhood nemesis,” Gantu, who was unfortunately outranked by a freaking sound system logo known as “THX” Also, Gantu never actually scared me as a kid, unlike the infamous THX logo. I just see him as a “big bully” in my imaginary adventures with Lilo and Stitch. The awkward part was years later when I went to Disney World for a high school field trip. I got to experience “Stitch’s Great Escape” thanks to my classmates who dragged me into it… and I realized that I was “temporarily working with Gantu.” It was really awkward to me, but I remained quiet about that and assumed Gantu “didn’t notice my presence because I grew up” Memories of my childhood imaginations are so much fun

I also very much enjoyed the crossovers. One thing that impressed me while rewatching the series on Disney Plus is the fact that despite each episode being mainly episodic, there is a continuity. You see experiments from earlier episodes reappear in later ones, sometimes in rather major roles. I've been going through a hyper fixation of Lilo & Stitch lately. It's a great series. Sadly as a kid I wasn't into it, but as an adult I love it. I'm not expecting a whole lot from the live action, but it might still end up being fun and will pull more kids into the franchise. Stitch merchandise already sells well so I imagine it'll skyrocket once a trailer drops.

This was the show that sparked my love of writing and art back in the 2000's. Without it, I would never have gotten into art or become the artist I am today.

I absolutely loved the Sandwich Stacker game and would love to see it again in a different format. Maybe a console compilation of different flash games in an attempt to preserve them for future generations

7:08 Okay THAT was awesome editing right there!! I dont know how you knew when an ad would appear on your video while editing, but it matched up perfectly! The old nostalgic Disney Channel bumpers made watching a KZbin ad so much more tolerable!

The movie Lilo & Stitch was one of the last Disney animated films I saw with my Mum and sister, before becoming a fully grown grumpy teenager. I did enjoy the TV series also, it marks a point in my memories of when I went from child to teenager. I watched the VHS tape of the film we had a lot, having then lost my mum aged 17, the phrase 'ohana' and family meaning nobody gets left behind is something I have never forgotten and still hold onto.

Yes.. I do remember, God I loved it so much. One of the very. Very best Disney had to offer. I don't know if I should thank you, or wonder how you can remember such old, gold, and often obscure shows from my childhood. Actually I do. Thank you for jolting back our memories and remind us of all these cartoons and shows we used to love when we were kids.

The series is the first Lilo and Stitch content I remember watching. I don't think I watched the original movie before way later. I was a toddler in 2002, so I don't remember it. Lilo and Stitch is probably my favorite Disney franchise of all time, and I'm sure it has taken part in shaping my love for sci-fi.

So fun fact. The Walt Disney Company found a personal letter from Walt in one of his old deals this year, the summary being he didn't condone remakes or reimaginings of the studios animated films. There was an internal push to honor this, resulting in the cancelation of all upcoming "live action" Disney films based on animated classics, with Pinocchio and the little mermaid planning to be the last of them because they were already in post production. I don't know if this had any effect on the lilo and stitch live action, but change is coming in their film practices

Watching Lilo and Stitch and Stitch the Movie, i really didn't expect it to have a tv series. It was always enjoyable to see the other experiments, what they looked like, how their powers worked and on how lilo and stitch would place them where their powers would be helpful.

There's also a more recent manga series called Stitch and the Samurai, where Stitch somehow lands in sengoku-era Japan instead of modern Hawaii and is taken in by a feudal warlord.

If only there was a crossover with Phineas & Ferb when they went to Hawaii, it would’ve a perfect comeback for the franchise.
