We were actually taught how to use PowerPoint & Word in grade 2 (this around 2015) we went to the computer labs we were taught about shapes, smart-art, text boxes, picture styles, animations & transitions, snapping, useful shortcuts, everything. And we were also taught how to save stuff probably over a week, we were tasked with making the most beautiful & clean slideshow and the best person would win a prize. I live in Brisbane, Australia and went to an inner city school who had a passionate IT teacher, she was so sweet.
