The Queens of covers.. This is insane, and Mayu's screams add such a cool touch.. Always respectful with pigtails and masks on the mic stands. There is nothing these ladies can't do, they have just released a cover EP with Sugar by SOAD and Metalica's Master of puppets, and they are awesome.. Latest original live tracs released from a recent concert, Zen, Change the world and Sieze the fate.. Do more Nemophila it's good for the soul. Best wishes from France

🦊 ⛩ Guitarist Saki is a huge BABYMETAL fan. Apparently all of the merch in the studio is hers. : ) All of the members (except Mayu in kimono) are wearing a different BABYMETAL t-shirt. Mayu has a Su style high ponytail, the others are all in twin-tails. BTW, it's Nemo (neh-moh), not "nee-moh". And Megitsune (meh-gee-tsoo-neh). The "ts" is like the end of the word "hats". They spell it out in katakana: メギツネ.

Nemophila is pure 🔥🔥🔥. Not many can cover Sumetal well but Mayu did an outstanding job while adding her own flavor. Nemophila are the queens of great covers but their originals are where it’s at. Try Oiran, Revive, or Adabana next.

I think "Oiran" is a good first original track to try out. There are multiple live versions on their channel but the most recent one I think is the best personally. "Oiran" contains a lot of the common features of a Nemophila song - scream and clean vocals, duelling guitar solos, etc

Not quite Su but damn this was fantastic!! Never heard this before. Nemophila is an awesome group. Definitely a mainstay in my PL’s :)

As you can see they seems to be very relaxed and smiling enjoying the song - which made it looks easy for them especially the drummer Murata Tamu, who hits the intensity without missing a beat. Check out their originals DISSSENSION which according to Tamu the most difficult drumming she had to play as far as their first album is concerned. As for now, I think ADABANA is the most interesting track for Tamu - having to hold back herself to go crazy and got the perfect spot for it to go wild eventually.

After leaving rock band Lipstick, vocalist Mayu was looking to form a backing band to support her at a live session on August 22, 2019. He contacted his former classmate and bassist Haraguchi-san, and the two recruited drummer Tamu Murata through magazines and website postings. Mayu met Mary's Blood guitarist Saki through a mutual friend, and Saki in turn introduced them to Disqualia guitarist Hazuki. Feeling that this lineup was too good to play just once, the musicians decided to form a real band. According to Murata, Saki was initially only going to act as the group's supervisor. It was after she decided to join as a member, that Murata decided to join as well.

BABYMETAL are notoriously hard to cover and Nemo totally pulled it off here. Nemo are a blast, and they have a huge range of musical styles. I'd reccomend their song 'Distortion' next...it's one of their heaviest and would contrast well against this fun cover.

It's a great cover, but it feels weird hearing anyone but Su-metal sing it.

Wow. This just shows what an amazing singer Su is and how great the Kami band is. This girl CANNOT sing at all. She was flat the entire song. The only thing "live" in this s video was the vocal and it was just horrible. The rest was a backing track. They owe Baby Metal an apology for murdering their song.
