Wow. You’re the second person this week that mentioned Dr Frankl in a reaction. The Nazis destroyed all documents of his existence, his diplomas, his research, all his works. His response to that was you can destroy all those things, but you can never take away my mind and my heart. Those two things, I will always be in control of and as long as I have that, I will survive. I will succeed. I’ve been in a darker place lately. I’ve been a bit stuck, but watching these video reactions like your is helping me find the positive version of myself. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Thanks you

It's great to see you do another reaction, especially an NF song! I think you provide a great gift by displaying your emotion, empathy, and humanity during reactions. I think it likely resonates with many and also probably helps to break down stereotypes that many people may have about MD's or neurologists. I think you provide a nice balance of brief clinical or psychological information combined with your genuine reactions. Thank you for sharing! Frankl was an awesome reference too!

Your insights are some of the best on KZbin! From somebody who spent 10 years seeing neurologist and neuropsychologist after a TBI you do an amazing job breaking down some complex issues in a way that’s easy to understand. You should check Luke Gawne’s Nightmare song, he had a TBI in high school and would be interesting to see your take on that song.

@@neurogalmd also when it comes to psychology and the human mind and our nervous system, and all of the chemistry that goes into it …I have studied extensively on my own through KZbin and buying books on Amazon or audiobooks😊 a lot of people in my family have suffered with mental illness and physical pain that you can’t see. It drove me to be completely nereded outon the entire thing.😅 I finally found a Doctor Who is a DO. So I’m getting much better results than my parents ever did. But I did rub in the 90s it was a different time. Sadly, my father is no longer with us. And my mother is still physically suffering, and intern mentally suffering. She used to be so independent so losing control is really hard for her. We are both in therapy and I am so happy that I did. My therapist is almost like my best friend except I pay her and she gives me better advice, lol no offense to my best friends. 😂😂❤❤❤

Anna I just found this channel and started binging (NF really, tbh). But you could make a case study out of Nathan's videos. His long-standing relationship with fear impacts so many of his new songs.. He talks about battles with isolation, feeling fake, fear (obviously) anger, his relationship with a family and God and people.. All that rambling to say your channel is great as you feel the lyrics along with him (and us) and are able to expound on what he's going through. Bravo!

I really like your interpretation of these songs, there is so much to learn from them. Your analysis makes it easier to understand the lyrics and mood of the song if you’ve not sure how to interpret them. I can relate to this, my wife is very much liking to blame me or other things when something goes wrong, it’s upsetting for me but I don’t let it get to me. I’m a musician and love listening to music and take my solace in it, I try to talk to her quietly and get her to understand that her behaviour is self destructive, more so because she doesn’t get me annoyed with her I suppose but so far it just hasn’t sunk in. I’m going to try to get her to listen to this and hopefully she will accept that I’m being truthful with what I say to her! Many thanks for your work it truly is empowering 🌹

Psychology of personality was the class I fell in love with out of all the classes I've ever taken in my life and Victor Frankl was the theorist I felt most in tune with!!!!! Might have something to do with having had grown up close to my father's parents that were holocaust survivors that took plenty of opportunities to remind us of how hard they fought to survive for what was important to them (their Jewish religious heritage) and although I myself don't necessarily feel a drive to live for my family's religiousness, I value the gift of life and as such choose to at least do as much as I positively healthily can for myself whether I eventually choose to have kids or not 🙂 Thank you for your continued beautiful and meaningful content!!

I have an incomplete spinal cord injury at my c6-c7 that I got a week before my 21st birthday in 2016. I can move pretty well after being initially paralyzed from the neck down and spending the summer in a rehab hospital. I drive, I walk, I work full time for a bank for almost 10 years now. If you walked by me on the street or I pulled up next to you, you wouldn’t know there’s anything wrong with me. If you spent an hour with me, you’d notice my uncomfortableness or I’d probably express it. A week and you would start to see how much I struggle with on a daily basis. A year and you understand it a little better. However I don’t think anyone will ever truly understand besides other people that have been through it. I know it could be worse. It’s very hard to explain to people and honestly I think it makes a lot of people uncomfortable when I do. Anyways the point of the comment is I hope you might do a reaction video to paralyzed, even though there is no video. Which there really needs to be. It’s one of my favorite songs and I can really relate to the lyrics. I just found your channel from the suggestions in happy and love these reaction videos, nf is one my my favorite artists.
