There was a virtual uproar late 2013. Sway Calloway persisted as a devil's advocate instead of an interviewer which resulted in a misunderstanding with popular artist, Kanye West. On West's predicament, Sway retorted, "Or, why don't you empower yourself-and don't need them-and do it yourself?"
After watching the Shade 45 satellite radio interview, I tailed the sound bite used in its introduction.
(West is referenced for saying, "...people [are] so gay conscious, now." [after 15:00])
