Waking Up & Fading as a JW

So true what you said about becoming cold and distant from reality as a JW. I remember when I was studying, over 20 years ago, being very concerned about the children Jehovah would be executing, but my thoughts gradually becoming aligned with the JW doctrine and no longer feeling pity for them as I passed the responsibility for their salvation onto their parents who were the ones that were to carry the weight of guilt for their children's ignorance and ultimate death. Yes, watchtower doctrine encourages low morality, lack of compassion and coldness. Thanks 💛

It angers me how they don’t research and even deny Jackson being at the royal commission and admitting they are not inspired,he was suppose to represent Jehovah and he was hopeless & weak!that really woke me up fast....wish my family would wake up. I’ve been able to fade over a period of time and then you are viewed as weak bad association and left alone but fortunately still have contact with family whoop whoop!🙌🤣🙌

Thank you both . I couldn't believe it when I saw that overlapping generation. The whiteboard and a stick was a give away . Every where in the bible a generation is one man's life . I've woken up and still have a daughter in . Im fading at the moment . I was absolutely devastated when I found out all the negative things . You end up in a no mans land . One of my things now I've woken up is if jesus started ruling in 1914 he only has 8oo + years left and they cant rule until the 144,000 are gathered. Little do witnesses know they are in a state of apostasy .

Hello Paul and Joy. I recently heard this on a podcast and it blew me away. I think it describes the JW’s perfectly. “People who believe false things can’t be around honest people. If you believe things that are false, you can’t have freethinking people who are skeptical and curious and who care about you enough to tell you the truth and free you from the foggy, narcissistic death grip of error and falsehood and delusion. Who is content to let you live in a delusion?? …..People who share those delusions and who don’t care about you. Delusion, fantasy, falsehoods and propaganda are solitary confinement. The reason propaganda is so dangerous is because it isolates people. And through isolation people go crazy. If you are isolated and you know it you experience a peculiar type of agony that will motivate you to do whatever it takes to get contact with people. If you are isolated and you don’t know it because you’re only surrounded by people who share your same delusions (cults) …..you are isolated because the only thing you have in common with the people around you is shared delusion. Collective madness is not emotional intimacy. The isolation that separates us from each other when we get wrapped in falsehoods is the worst thing of all because it is without obvious symptom…. Yes, you become unstable, defensive, inoculated against any truth teller and will attack anybody that tells the truth in your environment, but you can’t love, you can’t be loved, you can’t relax. You are always on guard for whatever might puncture your delusions which provokes rage which drives good people away and anybody might rescue you from delusion will be driven away and you are left alone in the foggy devil ribbed cage bosom of falsehood… That which is not real, that which is not true, that which is not proven, that which is the opposite of truth. You are full of peculiar hatreds, instability, vanity… because anybody who just repeats lies and only listens to lies is vain because they won’t submit themselves to reason and evidence. So, the vanity, the narcissism, the isolation the peculiar hatreds…. to be falling without even knowing that you’re falling, to be ill with no symptoms….. is the most dangerous thing of all. And to be lonely in a crowd of thousands of people cheering all the same falsehoods, to be certain, pompous, to be vain, to be full of rage at anybody who threatens these delusions…. to be told that the pursuit of truth is the acceptance of evil… to be isolated and thereby easily manipulated. People who pursue delusion and end up wrapped in delusion are saying… I can’t be loved, all I can do is pretend to merge. I can’t be loved for who I am so I will hide in a room full of photocopied people with photocopied opinions and pretend that I’m part of something. I will dissolve my individuality, I will shred and eviscerate any original thought I might possibly have, any curiosity, any skepticism I might possibly have so that I can dissolve into the nothing of the photocopies around me. I can’t have love, but I can self abase and self erase into proximity. I can nod, smile, agree, and praise who everyone praises and hate who everyone hates… I can be a shadow cast by the tombstone of my mind. I can’t exist, I can’t excite, I can’t be unique, but I can blend. I can submit I can conform and then I will have physical proximity combined with unbelievable isolation. I can’t approach the truth so I will just burrow into empty people. We can only ever meet in reality itself. We cannot meet in fantasy we cannot meet in lies we cannot meet in propaganda. We can only meet in the truth. When you are with the truth, you can do without people because you are with yourself and with the facts and reality. When you don’t have the truth you have a bottomless desperate need for people that you could never connect with. If all you have in common with others, with those around you is a mutual agreement to slash your mind into ribbons and accept whatever lies come rolling down the conveyor belt, you’re not with anyone, and you will never feel loved. The price of conformity is the absence of love. The price of conformity is terror of solitude. Truth tellers can handle the journey from the town of the dead to the outposts of the living and the thinking. It’s a long journey across that desert. The ghosts can’t make it. You can’t love a character in a video game because they are programmed. You can’t love people who don’t think for themselves because there is no one to love, thought is the only individuating characteristic that we have. The only thing that we have that is uniquely our own is our capacity to think for ourselves, and that is the only passageway through which the light of love can reach. They suffer in the worst possible way which is to not even know what they are missing… Avoid it if you can at all possible costs.”

My passion is sharing the gospel with Jehovah's Witnesses. I now have 1,453 videos uploaded to KZbin of my conversations with British Jehovah's Witness elders, which have been sorted into play lists by UK region. Recently I've been discussing lesson 13 from their book: Enjoy Life Forever, which makes the claim that true Christians should not get involved in Politics or Warfare, I then ask why they joined the UN in 1992, some of their sub-corporations / charities such as the European Association of Jehovah's Witnesses has worked with the political organisation OSCE for over 20 years. Then I ask why they accepted over 5 million shares in a company which makes engines for military drones, and via an independent trust, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York accepts share dividends from Arms companies. Lastly, even the Watchtower magazine itself admits to their involvement in warfare in both World Wars, in Australia (Watchtower 1st June 1947, page 173) and in America (Zion's Watchtower 15th May 1918, page 6,257 Green reprints). I've never been a JW, I was once a Oneness Pentecostal (Apostolic) way back in the 1980s and I became a zealous Trinitarian in 1989, I also have 400+ video discussions in my “Church Folk in Dialogue" series, with Mormons, Christadelphians, 7 Day Adventists, Oneness Pentecostals and various pro-Tithing groups such as the Nigerian based sects RCCG and Winners chapel, the leaders of whom, both have multiple private jets.

Rodrigo Carino - all you need to tell them is that you will not discuss personal matters with them. You can go stronger if your situation allows. Keep things away from doctrine and JW rules and make it about individual freedoms and human rights.

WT/JW is a business. From a business standpoint, you would never knowingly choose to cover up a crime committed by an employee or employees. This company knew in the 60's and 70's that child sex abuse was occurring and they could have stopped it or at least changed policies back then. From what Barbara and others have said, in 1985 employees were asking about and acknowledging the list of people committing child sex abuse, so they could have done something then. I remember back in the 90's when everyone was talking about the Catholic Church sex abuse; I would imagine at that time wt knew about it also so they would know, hey......that is going on with us so we had better do something about it; they once again did nothing. Next two decades, the television shows and newspapers were broadcasting Barbara and others' stories plus the lawsuits commenced. And yet.........they still have done absolutely not one thing. WHY?

I got so so much to tell about raping of children and witness elders not prepared to testify......rather... they shunned us......thank you God for that. Me my wife and oldest daughter are out... Do not know how to get my second child out. She and her husband is shunning us without listening to both sides of the story. They in fact do not want to listen to us, but other people must listen to them. Witnesses are weird in that regard.

Jackson testimony at Royal C. the elder told me , its a photoshop!!! he said , they can put a head and adjust the voice to make him look like J. Jacson (:(:(: he said: even if this is true, is it upbuilding to talk about it to other brothers? So i said.okey but that doesnt change the fact that it is true!!! Im so....... on the verge.... Im soooo done with them. they DF my husband last year for questioning practices of GB. We live in a small community, i just desire to fade away succesfully , help me......

Andrzej Mrozowski - be bold, be brave and get out as soon as you can. It will be the best thing you have ever done! Just stop attending meetings, stop engaging with all JWs and you will find that you will gain a new clarity of thought and peace. It is all in our minds - we tend to overthink things. The reality is that they have no power over you unless you give it to them. They are powerless drones of a mindless cult.

If you work for a Jehovah's Witness, have families that are Jehovah's Witnesses, you will not get your inheritance, you will not keep your job, you will not keep your friends, you will not keep your family. However, it is more worth it to be out and free than to be living the short life that you have in a mind numbing, brain-sucking organization. Live your life now, or you will regret it.

Both of you remind me of an older couple I knew in my former congregation that I was in last before my dissfellowshiping in 2015. They're a nice couple both of you remind me of. Anyway I had doubts for a very long time, but also things I knew from before from others as well from out side the org before I came back to it the second time around officially ,lol. And got involved , yes bible study , meetings , field service , being involved on the school and the whole kit and kaboodle that goes along with being a jw . Anyway certain trigger points caused me to doubt that this org is the truth ??? From being marked in the congregation for what ever reason that I don't quite know of but I have my suspicions on that to knowing quite well about certain publications which I still have which point to 1975 and that it being the ( end of the system ) Which by the way the older couple I mentioned of before openly told me about that and about what they did in 75 to get ready for armageddon . And yes still there many decades latter . That gets my mind buzzing about how they chose to stay in the org and follow up till now ? And oh finally Australian royal commission top it off. But also I remember at a convention here at rid laver arena in melbourne where I'm from at that time I was looking into info on line about the watch tower being involved with the U.N And a brother giving a talk on the platform I remember very clearly in 2013 that the talk he gave he ripped through all about how people where leaving the org, having doubts and he openly mentioned about the org having been a member of the U.N and some amongst the bro and sis in the org spreading rumour and gossip and doubt about the org being gods only channel because of involvement with the U.N I remeber quite clearly what was said. If only I had moble then that worked properly to record what was said. Yeah so all these thing and more added up and amongst other things in my personal life outside the congregation I was pretty much on my way out. But seemed to have fast tracked that getting dissfellowshiped for reasons I wont get into but as you'd probably know the reason why as it was always mentioned at assemblies and conventions of why ( 40000 ) Bro & sis get dissfellowshiped every year. Anyway I'm happier to be out oh and another thing was when I revealed my discovery of other similar groups pretty much in effect of teaching similar doctrines to that of witnesses. Such as the former world wide church of God. And the offshoot groups that teach similar or almost identical theology . Such as tomorrow's world and the restored church of God amongst others I cant remember at this point. Anyway you guys are t m really nice. Keep it up. Cheers !!! Oh I remember we couldn't even.say cheers because of superstition surrounding that of oh you might bring the demons in. Lol !! Tell me that's not superstition amongst witnesses , lol !!! And the org is not superstitious ??? Anyway thats another subject which I'll chat about another time on spirits, spirit world and so on. Anyway have a lovely day there . Cheers !!

We plan to keep ours around the 12 - 16 minute mark, with the longest at around 20 minutes purely because we need that time for the huge amount of References that we have to present on that topic. Most will be short and sharp.
