Walk around of two 1982 Ford XE ESP Fairmont Ghias 302 V8

Ford LTD P6 or Holden HZ or WB Caprice are fairly badass too.....and sound beautiful!

There was never a factory 5 speed v8 xe,the only 5 speed was 3.3 litre with a 5 speed,so it have been 4 speed

SIERRA TAN is so nice,i had a chestnut car with that trim,that 84 v8 wagon is very rare i have never seen a xe v8 made after january 83

Last xe v8 was November 1982, theres no such production of a v8 in 83 or 84

4:58 - It has option 29, 31, and 34. Now I know they always say If its not option 54 its not an ESP. Well, The tag doesnt have option 54. I have never believed the option 54 thing, and now I see another ESP without option 54 only strengthens my assumption that the option 54 has nothing to do with whether its an ESP or not. Anyone have any thoughts?

The engine bay tags never list the options on the car so to the untrained eye, it's anyones guess. The stamped numbers 29, 31, 34 are the additional ADRs the vehicle complies with but unless you were the original purchaser, option 54 is only listed on the Ford Australia verification letter. Option 54 is exactly that, European Sports Pack option which refers to a list of items that make the car an ESP. In saying that, there are other areas of the car that confirm if it is an original ESP optioned car or not.

I beat you in doing dumb things. I owned a 1977 cream and black LX Torano SLR5000 in mint condition. I bought it for $8k with 32000 KM on the clock and sold it 5 yrs later for $9k with 78000 KM on the clock because I was getting engaged/married. I wanted $10k for it and dipshits offered me as low as $7k.
