Hang in there! I have normal ups, downs, blues, loneliness and stress and I find walking really helps put me into a better mood. Part of it is chemical, but part is also the knowledge that you are taking care of yourself- think of it as pampering yourself. You may get to a point where you want to be outside in nature a little, a leisurely walk where there are some trees adds to the benefit for me. Nature is healing. All the ancient cultures knew it!

I love that she caters to the overweight, the older, the ones who are coming back from injury, even immobile from depression. The ones that the high energy strenuous workouts seem to bypass. Bless you Leslie Sansone

I am 60 years old- started leslie's workout in July 2022 (weight 93kg). By February 2023 came down 73kg!!Came down to size 14 from size 24!!

in my opinion Lesie Sansone and the late Richard Simmons were the only exercise gurus that understood overweight and elderly people were using these videos. They always included all shapes, sizes and various ages of people. I was always able to complete their videos because I always saw someone like me pushing through. I've had great success with them.

My old comment got lost in the shuffle, so I'll say it again to encourage everyone. I did this 2X a day (to make it 2 miles). In about a months time, my doctor told me that my good cholesterol went up! (that's good....that's the one they WANT at a certain level).

I love the DVD version of this I wore it out. The only thing is , the second mile is missing. Where is the weight lifting part? I still like it, but its not as good as the DVD version.

Not to brag but I’m 81 yrs old and have been following Leslie’s programs since about 2016. I love them. I have arthritis and these programs help to keep me moving. They also encourage me to try to lose a few lbs - I love food And I’m hoping they are keeping my heart and brain in good condition.

24 years ago I started working out to this one month after giving birth, not only did I lose pregnancy weight I lost even more and my belly and thighs were more toned than before! I started again last month and lost 5 pounds already!!

I've been walking with Leslie for 15 years now and can walk 6 miles a day very easily. In fact, I'm in better shape now than when I started and I'm a size 4 to boot. Thank you Leslie! Did I mention I turned 70 last November?

@@josecaraballo6053 if you do Leslie's work out and mix it with daily activity, you're automatically going to burn more calories and help get yourself into shape. Just the fact that you're moving and getting your heart rate up forces your body to change. Hope that helps 😊❤️

I had such a flashback doing this! i remember walking to this back in early 2000's in my early 20s!!! Leslie helped me to lose a lot of the weight I had put on in college, and I found these videos again on youtube. I have been walking now for about 2 weeks and I feel great!

When I was in my teens I didn’t appreciate how great these videos are. Now that I’m 31, expecting my first baby and nursing a knee and back injury, I thank God every day for Leslie. Fantastic workout and no risk of injury

Starting my walk now about 7 days. Cutting out procedsed food and soda ad much and now my inflammation hasn't surfaced on knees, all over my body. I gonna keep trying ❤

This was the very first Leslie Sansone video I got, back in the early 2000s. I loved it and went on to do many others. Now I'm a lot older, and hampered by arthritic knees, but I'm trying to get active again, so I'm going to give this one a try. I love that you can follow the easier options if something is difficult for you.

what an incredible gifts leslie has given us!!! not only did she give us this program on DVD but, now she has given us free access to the videos on youtube!!! this program has been my salvation for decades (when it first came out)!! with the weather being either extremely cold or hot, this program allows me to walk at home and take the program with me where ever i go in this big world!!! i am sure this saved people during covid lock down as well!!! thank you so much leslie! you are an angle who flew too close to the ground!

Omg, thank you for putting this up! I used to have these!! I did weight watchers and these workouts! Lost 200lbs! I’ve kept it off but still have more to go! I’m saving this and going to start walking again! Love Leslie!!

I would like to say my husband and I have been walking with Leslie and the walk leaders, Kamillah, Rocky, Nick and Nadia during this pandemic. We actually started as a way to keep up with friends from NC by zoom. We got so engrossed with the team and wanting to walk for health that we have a small competition between ourselves. I've been told by my doctor I needed to lose weight. Praise God I have a loving spouse that is helping with this chapter my life. Thanks Leslie and the magnificent, encouraging walk leaders!!!

My daughter showed me these videos and I love them! I’m 69 and not in great shape, but I am doing the 1 mile walk 4-5 days a week and the 2 mile walk a couple of times. It has helped keep me active during the quarantine.

In the early 2000s I gained 100 pounds due to high doses of prednisone. This actual video, the one mile, got me back on my feet and slowly but surely I lost the weight and gained so much strength. At the end of the year I was on the 5 mile walk with no problems. Just take it slowly. Go at your pace and you will see a change if you stick with it. I promise. I was on high prednisone again, so I'm back to get Leslie's help :) I'm a beginner again, and I loved seeing this retro workout again. Yay to all of us making better choices!!

I LOVE your videos Leslie! I did these the first time back in 2010 and I got my health back and in shape! Through the years I tried other things like hiking and weightlifting but now that I’m a mommy of two it’s not that easy to get a full 45-60 minute workout! I remembered your videos and started them immediately! Second walk today and already feeling great! So happy to be back! 🎉❤

I started this workout monday June 1st. I do it daily. I am now on day 12. And feel awesome after my workout. Not as tired as usual. July 1st, I am bumping up to the 2 mile walk. By august I should be ready for 3 mile walk. Hopefully by December I will be down 50lbs. That about 8lbs a month. I started diet same day as workout. Fingers crossed it works 🤞🏽

I agree about feeling good after doing her workouts! I have been using the video with 5 workouts for the past three weeks. I was doing something in the afternoon yesterday and I could still that burn in my muscles. It made realize Leslie is right---it continues after your workout. I have been tired from waking up early to get the workout in and I have been falling asleep early.

@@shelliesheets4177 I love how easy it is, and my heart isn’t thumping out of my chest, it’s just beating enough to make me sweat and not make me uncomfortable! I suffer from panic disorder so intense heart rates trigger panic attacks..this doesn’t!

I started these around 2001. Went from a size 24 to a size 8. I have 6 of her tapes. I have 2 left feet with one pointed the wrong way, so when I tried dance videos, it was a catastrophe. Then I found Leslie and all I had to do was walk. I could do that! 😊 I added jogging as well. Well I started with the intention of jogging and got about 50 ft. So I had to work up to it over time. LOL During some major life events starting in 2010, I've put a lot of it back on. But I have to lose this weight again. I need the strength I used to have to keep up with my ADHD son. I can still use the tapes, but only when my son lets me use my TV. 🤣 This one enables me to do the workouts upstairs using my phone. I was at the point of doing her 1 hour video after I finished my 3 mi. run, then doing situps. So I started this again last week. I'm up to half a mile. 🤣 Gotta condition this old body again. 😊

I went from an 18 to a 10/12 with Leslie as my catalyst. Life trauma caused me to gain it again but I'm here again with Leslie for another go. Blessings on your weight loss journey.

@@tpquest6959 It took me about 9 months, but the results along the way were rewarding. I aimed for 1300 calories a day. 300 for breakfast, 400 for lunch, and the rest for dinner/snacks. I read labels a lot and bought foods I knew I could count. If the nutrition information was not available, I ate it very sparingly, or not at all.

Oh my gosh, this is one of my absolute favorites! Whenever I turn into a slacker I get back into walking by doing the **real** one miler with this group and I love it! This pink-outfit workout is really two miles and I just did it yesterday! Today I did a short, fun one with Nick. But so cool to see this fav of mine is from '99. Where are all the walkers now? Jody's baby must be 21 by now!!! I can't say how much I love this group!

Updating on 25/1/23 I am 160 pounds..never took weightlos journey serious!i was sick for a longer period and the meds made me bloated and huge😭and now that i am inspired i am gonna take leslie serious along with some portion control eating...in sha allah will update here after 3 mnds,ie 25/4/23

Leslie, how are the folks walking with you in this video? I've been doing this specific video since 2004. I lost weight doing her videos (60 bs) but I fell off the wagon and gained it back, plus I'm about 16 years older and have back and knee pain due to arthritis, so here I am again. Thanks a lot for all these walk at home vidz because we the obese people who is ashamed of going out and doing workouts among people, (because of their sarcastic gazes at us) can move at home while trying to lose big amount of pounds🙏

Honestly, I get irritated with walking in public just because of people in general. But sometimes I do it and when I see obese people walking for excercise I immediately think nothing but positive thoughts because I am seeing someone who is trying to help themself. There is no shame in it! But I still see your point and I love doing the in-house workout so I don't have to deal with annoying people in general!

I'm so glad I found this video again! I had the three-tape VHS set in the early 2000's, and it helped me lose the baby weight of two babies. Finally threw away my VHS tapes last year, wishing I'd kept this one. Now, I can lose this COVID-19 quarantine weight! Thank you, Leslie!

I only did this for about a month and my doctor was already complimenting the cholesterol changes. I know it's the workout because he yells at me every year about the cholesterol. Supposedly, it raised my good cholesterol. Just my opinion.

My mom "walked with Leslie" (1 mile) every day for years and years. She lived to be 101!! I have her old VHS tape, but it is broken from so much walking. Wish I could find the original 1 mile to get started again. This seems to be the 2 mile, which works, but I have to stop in the middle for a few weeks until I build up again. Then 2 mile will be perfect!!

This is one of the only true low impact workouts online! I was watching one “low impact” workout that had you getting down on the ground and jumping😑

SO TRUE. I have been a fan for years. I used to workout religiously 45minutes 4-5 times per week. I fell off and this is the ONLY WORKOUT that I can go to to "Restart" my workout regime. I started back today 12/16 I did the 1mile and feel so good!

I love her. I sometimes forget to exercise and put it behind me. Then when I want to condition. My body I start with her videos. I always do the 5k videos and them I know I'm ready for more. Thanks so much Leslie because your videos are full of much needed positivity.

I love these walking videos! I'm a road walker & runner but these are awesome on days I need to catch a few quick indoor miles or bad weather days! This video is almost every morning to get my body moving & get in steps while getting ready for work!

I am a 55 year old woman I used to do this a while back and it really helped me out a lot now I'm going to try to do it every night before I go to bed help it will make me unwind just keep in mind if you want to do it you can do it just one step at a time it's your own pace it's a perfect thing to do when the weather is bad outside are you just don't feel like getting dressed and going outside and get initial PJ's in tennis shoes come on girls we let's get this done

I follow the attractive lady in the second row, second from the right in the pink top and black shorts as her range of motion is closer to what I can accomplish. I'm old and need a cane for balance so I do have to modify some of the motions to keep my balance....especially the motions of arms. Love this video (have the DVD also) as the different steps are simple and easy to follow. As just starting, I only get part way thru the video but hey...anything is better than nothing !

I started doing 2 of these programs a day since I left the gym and it has helped me stay on track. I was put on a medication that makes most people gain weight but I have kept it off thanks to Leslie

Even though this feels like it's going at a more gentle pace, I sweat alot more than the other more intense ones and every morning I would see weight come off. So now I add weight training with this and it's perfect
