Yes, I would agree with that, Nan seems to be one of the cleanest I've seen.

Yes Nan is a fantastic place to get away from all the tourism and see the real Thai lifestyle. My fiancé of 8 years and I have several rentals there it is her home town. I great place to go eat at night is a place called “Tree Park”. It has several food stalls in this area with Big screen tv for sporting events and usually some musical entertainment. Make sure to visit the salt mines and Wat Phra That Khao Noi. This temple has the most beautiful view of the Blue Mountain valley.
@WalkAboutWayneКүн бұрын
Yeah it’s not a bad place Nan👍. Salt mines and Sapan look ok, I was thinking about it, but I doubt it on this trip. Cheers 🍻

Some of the best motorcycle riding in all of Thailand, there in Nan Province. It is so much easier to get around if you have a car or a bike. I like Wat Phuket, Wat Phrathat Khao Noi, Wat Phrathat Chae Haeng, and the drive up to Sapan is amazing. They have some really great hotels too if you're willing to spend a little more.

Yes, some great roads buddy. Phrae to Nan wasn't the best but all in all it's been awesome roads. Cheers.

Glad to see you've made it to Nan. It's a place that gets overlooked, but I really like the town 😃 We didn't take the main roads on our roadtrip - 2 weeks of backroads, villages, and big towns when we reached them . . .

Man you had a stunner in the bus with you, Those Carved Teak Buddha's are on the next level, must have taken months to carve. The Monk was saying the carvings are from recycled dead trees.

Batman was sitting in front of you on the tour 🤩 - Nan has a lot of temples , but if it’s quiet , that’s good - can’t believe other towns don’t have a bus tour - Bobby D so far 👌👍🙏

I want that Batman tee 🤣 I will look out for it at the market. Nan is a nice place, very clean and open. Not sure it's my favourite but a Bobby D for sure. Cheers mate.

Sound's like you thrashed Lucille man 80kph she'll never be the same again. Can't wait for your next Vlog mate. Nan is looking good so far.Be safe man be safe

Don't mind temples myself and yes they are different. Brilliant that you could get a 30 baht tour including them all in one trip. Thats crazy cheap for the service provided even if the guide just spoke in Thai. That box ticked 😂 Looking forward to seeing what else this town has to offer. Cheers Wayne 🤩
@WalkAboutWayneКүн бұрын
Yeah, crazy for a 1 hour tour, just 30 Baht. It's amazing how they can do it. The tour was mainly temples, but can't complain for 30 baht. Cheers mate.

Hard not to like Nan. Quiet wide open spaces, no push and shove. Excellent quality silver markets for those wanting genuine jewellery. Not the kind of place you'd expect a big jet coming in for landing, but they do. You made it on a 125cc. Tip my hat to you, Wayne.
@WalkAboutWayneКүн бұрын
Not a bad town mate, probably not my favourite but really nice lay out. Lucille will get anywhere, as long as I keep it to a few hours a day. Cheers Lars.

@WalkAboutWayneКүн бұрын
Cheers Colin, it seems to be very clean from what I've seen. Wat Phantao in Chiang Mai is teak yes, but the inside isn't all wood like this place in Nan. I did remember a couple places around Chiang Mai after though.

Hey how you doing Wayne? Had to make a comment about that Monk, he wasn't properly Dress for the temple that morning if visitors are restricted in proper dressing to follow their rules before entering they need to look at themselves first before opening the temple doors: etiquette? Take care man & be safe..Maxi from Houston Tx
