Sucks to see Buehler go. But hopefully that means we get Roki. Spoke with a friend who works at the Training spot Roki is at in Manhattan Beach, CA and he said when he spoke with Roki and his team, that they are looking at the Dodgers, Padres and Mets right now. Those are the three spots that interest him the most at the moment. Hopefully, he picks the Dodgers but we shall see.

That creates a ton of uncertainty about his future abilities and lowers his value. We saw how awful he was overall in 2024. I hate to see him go, but those potential replacements are better bets than Buehler. He could prove everyone wrong, and I hope he does, but that’s just the reality of this situation

No Offense this was mostly the casuals... those of us that know Buehler DNA know he shows up when it matters... I actually think he would've been the perfect # 6 pitcher in the rotation... I'm actually disappointed... I have no faith Glasnow and Ohtani will stay healthy enough to pitch... Buehler is an absolute stud as a 3rd, 4th, 5th starter and a HUGE insurance policy... not happy to see him walk for 21 Million

@@jonathanbraswell6308 and u 100 % believe buehler wanted to be a 4th or 5th starter here when a club like boston offered him the opportunity to be their 2nd starter ? also … buehler’s ERA was hovering around 6 and if there weren’t a ton of injuries and his name wasn’t walker buehler he would have been out of the rotation. with boston buehler has the chance to be a front line starter and not just insurance.

Luis Robert is the best defensive CF in baseball. Led the league in average in 2021, was 2nd in HRs in 2023 with 38, stole 23 of 26 bags last season and hit the farthest ball ever recorded in the stat cast era as a rookie in 2020. Yeah La pantera is elite and would be huge addition.

The fact the Dodgers sign UNconforto before Teascor is comical Remember before Teo, we had different outfielders playing LF depending on the opposing pitcher lefty/righty matchups and that didn't work out for us. Now that we finally had Teo to LOCK that position that finally hit left-handed pitchers our offense was balanced with a productive player producing for our team

He was rounding back into form his last starts, hitting corners, up and down in the zone, absolutely filthy and we let him walk over 20 mil? We stuck with him through 2 Tommy John surgeries and gave him all the time we could. I liked Buehler but he was a weak link for us. just like Kershaw who had a great career but is one of the weakest links now. I'm not sad to see him go, but I wish him nothing but success.

Doug - Why only able to project the trade route or remaining free agents as the only path if the Dodgers don't re-sign Teoscar? Big, power hitting right hand hitting outfielders who strike out a lot like Teoscar just don't age well in the MLB. I for one, don't want to see Friedman spend any money on those other guys (Robert or Suzuki) either. Why cant the plan be that without re-signing Teoscar, Andy Pages becomes a starting corner outfielder or they give Dalton Rushing a shot to start in the outfield? I'll trust the front office to decide if the prospects are ready but it seems like the Dodgers ought to refrain from importing players from elsewhere, every time there is a need to fill in the lineup or add to the roster.
