This little quad is pretty amazing. I love the idea of an FPV setup this small. I hope to get this, or the Hoten FPV some day in the not so distant future. I want to explore my backyard woods and creek area and the park up the road from a different perspective. I have been using a camera equipped WLtoys V959 to get a hand for aerial videos, but FPV is where I want to go, ultimately.

yes it does, but I haven't tried it yet. I did try to use my fatshark mono plug to AV out cable, but it was a no go on video footage.

Yea I found that out when I got my fatshark googles a few months ago :) Video quality is actually pretty decent, but the narrow FOV is not wide enough. Pretty tough to fly to the garden haha. I make a video if I have time tonight :)

Tony, can you adjust the lens to a higher angle? It looks like the flight path is at the top of the viewer. It it can be angled up, it would help flying FPV. I set my filght path as close to center left and right and slightly high of center. Maybe 60% up from the bottom. It appears to be centered left and right. Also, it's hard flying multirotor indoors period. The walls make them want to drift toward the nearest one. Hallways are quite difficult. All the best and Happy flying!

a good fpv for ground rc ive notice is the (eye spy spyder cam)for only 18usd also and working on taking apart to make light for aircraft flights has 500 feet range but only 720p

Do you use the F7 transmitter for any other aircraft models? Specifically, I'm building an FPV/GoPro combo Slow Stick, and I'm looking for a decent transmitter to go with it. It's for sale on Amazon but I can't seem to find any reviews for it.

great review i just bought one of these and cant wait to get it i do fly FPV on my big quads and planes so this should be fun and you are right it is not easy to fly FPV you must learn to fly all over again its actually more like flying the real thing

does the tx get really hot? mine gets really hot, cant even touch where the aerial screws on and the video on the transmitter is all distorted and cant even see it. any ideas?

That's interesting. You say the camera is pointed down too far. But Parrot ar owners complain that its camera isn't pointed down far enough. I guess you can't please anyone, lol. But thanks for the video review! I just ordered one of these from some website...

yup you just hook up the 5805 to the extra port on the V2 board :)

I've flown both the V1 and V2 and honestly there's not that much of a difference besides the V2 cannot be update if Walkera releases new firmware for it :) I think the Walkera FPV package will come with just the micro 5.8ghz FPV setup minus the flying model.

It should if the V1 does. They both use the same motor and battery and the only difference is the components in the board.

Get the D lens from the 808 keychain camera on ebay and you will have an awesome micro fpv uncrew the stock lens and screw in the 808 D lens its that easy :) you can do it Daniel Son! Lol

100ft or so. I live in CA so there's too many buildings, cell towers, and other stuff in the way. If I was in an open area I would say the ladybird can go farther than that, but you will be limited to radio range.

unfortunately you will need some kind of recorder if you want to record the video on the screen, A cheap SD card DVR would work

I just wish the controller radios were less clunky and old fashioned. The controllers should be designed like a modern game controller. Look at the Nvidia Shield for an example how it's done right...but the Shield is an Android WiFi device, not a RC controller.
