I walk through the area of Downtown Flushing, Queens on Main Street, 40th Road, Roosevelt Avenue, and Prince Street. The neighborhood is bustling, and it was welcome to see so many establishments on 40th Road and Prince Street offering outdoor dining.

It's amazing that almost everyone is wearing masks. Where I live, masks are only worn indoors, and sometimes not even then.

Same here in Spain we all wear masks outdoors and inside stores and even inside the car and buses. They will fine with 100 € if we dont wear it. They have made it a daily obligation....I Dont know till when.

Asian people have a long tradition of wearing masks to prevent the spread of illness so they were the first in the city to mask up.

Thanks for the great video. I worked in College Point and lived in Manhattan for a couple of years. Good to see Flushing is still a busy place. Loved the oriental stores and restaurants. I got off the subway and rode a bus to College Point every work day.

I haven't been to Flushing since Covid-19 became a concern, but 40th Road is infamous for the open street prostitution ... some of the ladies (40+ and older) would just come up and ask if you're looking for a message. No one among the community seemed to shame them although business owners would like to see them go.

Hi ActionKid This is a bit off the topic, but i have a technical question. I would like to record walking clips on my A6400 and on my GoPro 7 Black and i would like to catch the ambient noises as well. What mic would You recommend?I know i need a rig and the adapter for the GoPro,and stabilization is also important, but strictly soundwise,to catch the background noises what are the options? Thank You in advance!

So many appealing fresh vegetable and fruit stores, AND--they were all busy!!! Refreshing to see. Still, need to keep a watchful eye on the recent uptick in positivity rates in certain areas in Queens and Bk. //As of today, 30 Sept., restaurants can serve indoors at 25% capacity . If it were me, I would continue to take advantage of outdoor restaurant seating until the real cold moves in.

I have never been to NY so I really enjoy these videos of yours. Feedback, when you are just walking, I really like how you pan the camera slowly. I feel as though I am right there walking the street. However, when you pan from store to store, you tend to move the camera around faster and it tends to make me dizzy. Please slow down your camera and pan it slowly. I'd like to absorb the ambience of the stores. Thanks!
