On the West Side, it's like that... it's like there's always mad tension in the air... or a cloud of turbulent vibration that rests permanently from past drama. When I chilled over on the East Side, I didn't experience that same feeling.

@@KtotheG idk. I see that vibe on every side of town. the east side might be more diverse than the west but the east just as bad. I was just over the hill off of Lakewood and I seen some youngins that looked like they was waiting for someone to try a drive by.

Ain’t nothing gonna happen , long as you mind yours and don’t start nothing, you good . I'm a survivor of these very streets where I used to get my "fix". I grew up in Brooklyn on AA county side. I did this for 7yrs and it was nothing pretty. So when rehab / outpatient and inpatient didn't seem to work I hopped on a Greyhound and went to Phoenix AZ to visit my aunt. I love the weather here but this town is just as bad. People everywhere popping up tents everywhere and I mean everywhere. But out here it's meth and blues {fake perc 30s laced with fentanyl) this city has gone to hell. Homeless everywhere begging. I even had some guy come up and kick my new Infiniti because I wouldn't give him a dollar. What is wrong with people? I'm glad to have this story to tell others cause a little drive toward getting straight and a good support system. You put your mind to it YOU CAN ACHIEVE A NEW LIFESTYLE.

One thing I can tell you about Baltimore compared to most hoods is that as scary as some places may look people rarely mess with the innocent. Most crime in this city involves people in the Drug game. If you adjusted the murder rate for people not involved in the Drug game Baltimore's murder rate would be slim to none. Drug Dealers want to make money and an innocent person getting shot or jumped will make the whole block hot which means more police attention, and less money. Also when you do hear those rare stories of innocent person getting shot or robbed trust me the one's that messed up the game are usually dealt with off hand there are street politics out here. I live in Baltimore and have never felt unsafe grew up off of Pennsylvania avenue. All I do is go to school and go to work no issues.

everybody in here saying "i would never". I live in Ellicott City just outside of bmore but have friends on the Park Heights and coddington/sinlcair. I walk around all the time and do work on people's houses and NEVER get messed with, if you walk around with your head up ad don't try to act scared people won't mess with you. They aren't trying to bring un needed heat to the block, and most of the time they know you're not from that hood so they don't think you're trying to start some shit and yes i am a 37 year old white boy. Only issue i ever had was at a gas station late at night where a drunk old man was talking shit and his wife was trying to hold him back cause she knew he was wrong and even said he would get his ass beat by me which made him even angrier lol.

Man I'm so glad I live in a small town in indiana. Sure we've got problems like anyone else. But this looks excitingly dangerous at night. You don't know what lurks in that darkness. I would presume you were well protected during that stroll through the hood.

I’m not sure exactly how your carrying the camera it looks from the shadows the your just free holding it at the end of your arm with your arm in a casual walking pose. Also seen how you turn it to catch different small bits of detail to the side. You should look into getting something on a 6inch stick that you can control the turn with just your finger and thumb like a dial and it turns the camera 180-270 degrees. To get a more direct and 90 degree turn but all while still be very nonchalant (cause to the passer by it may just look like it’s free spinning. Since your arm would t be moving at all) just a thought hell they may even have something just like this being sold in the market. Either way cool video
