Walking My Dog Bear in the Snowy Forest 2-9-18

Hi! Friends! ... Isn't snow so wonderful! Ha! Ha! ... I started making this video back on January the 16. The second half of the video I made on February the 9 th. .. It's a good thing winter last's a while. Because I haven't been the quickest at making videos lately. Ha! Ha!
My dog Bear, and I go for walks in the forest 2 or 3 times a day for enjoyment, and exercise. I have to dress extra warm when the temperatures are very cold. I probably have to wear about 25 pounds of extra clothes on to keep warm. Ha! Ha!
So far it hasn't snowed a lot here this winter. Most of the heavy snow storms have been missing this area.
It can get very cold here during the winter. It was -10 F below zero last night, and can get down to -25 degrees F. When I made both parts of this video it was around 10 degrees F. When it is below - 0 F we don't walk very far because the air is to cold for me to breathe for very long. And Bear's feet get to cold. I could make him some booties. But I think he would eat them. Ha! Ha!

Hi! Gary! .. Thank you for your nice comment! ... I think the snow is pretty, but I am looking forward to Spring time. It is always nice to plant plants, and see everything come back to life. Time has been going by pretty fast for me. So it won't be long and it will be Spring time again, and I can get started on my outside projects.... and complain about swatting mosquitoes too. Ha! Ha! It is nice and sunny this morning. It has warmed up to +11 degrees F now, so it is kind of a heat wave. Ha! Ha! Bear has been trying to help me type with his nose. Guess he is trying to tell me to take him out for his walk. When he types with his nose all kinds of strange things start to happen on my computer! Ha! Ha! The snow alway's seem's to be eternal ....... Our temperatures have finally gone back up in Canada and so outside the window I see Snow ..... snow ..... and more snow.

Hi! Steven! .. Thank you for your nice comments! ... It is always so peaceful after it snows, and covers up everything. Kind of like it is a new world. It hasn't snowed that much here this winter. Usually it would be up to my knees by now. The bad storms have been missing this area for now. I suppose the snow, and cold are about the same where you live. We never know what it is going to do here when the cold fronts drop down from Canada. It is always so nice of you guys to share your cold, and pretty snow with us down here. Ha! Ha! Hi! Hal! .. Thank you for your cool fun comments! They always make me laugh. Ha! Ha! .. I have to run fast to get away from those female Sasquatch's. I can usually hear them coming. Because there mating call is a loud screeching noise... sounds something like me when I try to sing. Ha! Ha! ... Sometimes I jump in the creek to get them off my trail. But then I freeze up stiff with ice, and they can catch me for sure. Ha! Ha! .. Oh! I did see you dressed like a giant Rooster! Pretty cool costume! But I do have to say, your loud crowing has been keeping me awake in the early morning hours. Ha! Ha! .. Oh! and be careful, because those Sasquatch's eat chicken's! Ha! Ha! ... It warmed up here the last two days. It was 45 degrees and sunny today. It felt like a heat wave. Now It is going to get very cold again because more cold air is coming down from Canada. Hi! Suzie! .. Thank you for your nice comments! ... It has warmed up to 45 degrees the last two days, a heat wave! LOL! So some of the snow is melting. It don't melt fast because it is so sub zero cold frozen. It feels like I live in a big deep freezer. Ha! Ha! ... We have been lucky here so far this winter. Most of the big snow storms have been missing this area, ... so far. But there is still a few more months of winter to go yet, so there will be a lot more cold and snow. ... The sunshine felt nice today when Bear an I were walking. I kind of glow in my orange coat when the sun hits it. Ha! Ha! .. I wear the orange coat in case I would fall, or pass out in the forest,. Then someone could find me before the critters eat me up. Ha! Ha! Bear really likes the snow. He lays on his back with his legs up in the air, and makes dogie snow angels. We haven't gotten big snow storms here, so far this winter. Most of the big snow storms have missed this area. But we can get a lot of snow all the way into April. .. Bear and I enjoy walking in the snow. Sometimes Bear lays in the snow on his back and twists around like he is making snow angels. Ha! Ha! Hi! Noel! ... Thank you for your nice comments! ....And Happy New Year to you and your family too! ... Bear sure does to play in the snow. When I let him run he jumps and rolls in the snow, having fun like a child. Ha! Ha! Bear likes to dig in the snow and sniff animal foot prints. That is why I walk him on a leash. Because if I let him run loose in the forest he would probably chase after animals. It wouldn't be good for Bear to play with the wild animals. Because there are deer, wolf, foxes, coyotes, and even real bears living in the forest. The wild animals usually are harmless, and hide and keep to themselves, and usually come out in the dark. Ha! Ha! ....Living here, about the time I get use to being cold, then it gets warm. Then I get to hot feeling. About the time I adjust to the heat of summer, then it gets cold again. That is why I am always complaining about the weather. Ha! Ha! .. It's to bad that humans aren't like animals with lots of fur.... But I suppose it would take a lot of fur to cover me! LOL! ....
