Walking Old Greenwich, Connecticut in November 2022

Old Greenwich is a coastal village in Fairfield County, Connecticut. It is one of the wealthiest areas in the United States, and used to be called Sound Beach - since the area is near the Long Island Sound. The main road through the village is Sound Beach Avenue. In this video, I explore the downtown area and then make my way over to Greenwich Point Park.

Fascinating! - "Old Greenwich Founded 1640" 🤩 The residential neighborhood is beautiful with many spacious homes and lawns. Another gorgeous walk. I could not believe the amount of traffic to the shore park, until I saw it, beautiful, I'd go all the time too. The colorful trees were spectacular as the beautiful old homes. I would love to see the layout of one those huge homes. Again here, the historic old cemetery in Old Greenwich from the 1600's would be awesome to visit and read dates and names.

They are beautiful.. Wish he had gone down one of the side streets where the bigger homes are located, not on the main road. Also he stopped filming when it git interesting. That Point is stunning.. and it was such a clear day so he would have seen Manhattan Skyline from the tip of the point that day I’m sure, however it’s quiet big and he had already walked almost 40 minutes..

Greenwich is beautiful I been there several times when I was dating someone from there. It's definitely a beautiful town. What I enjoyed most was touring the homes some of them are so big and beautiful. If you're looking for a good Mexican restaurant, I recommend "Boxcar Cantina" located at the regular Greenwich area, not old Greenwich. Food is delicious there 😋👍

“Old Greenwich” “Riverside” “Cos Cob” Whatever way you choose. Only difference is further from the Avenue (Train Station) which over the years has been over run with traffic.

The average person living there is rich NYC bankers or Hedge funds located in Stamford CT. Greenwich and Stamford are the wealthiest cities in Connecticut. One well-known hedge fund investment company, Steven A. Cohen, is located on the right side of the Old Greenwich area and there are still many investment company offices there that are worth billions of dollars.
