WALKING QIGONG (KNOWN AS ANTI-CANCER WALKING)

This is a version of Walking Qigong that I have practice before I knew about Qigong. It turns out that this form is significantly practiced in China and it is known as an Anti-Cancer Walking practice. Some studies have found this practice to be extremely beneficial for health. Note: This practice may slightly differ from some of the traditional Walking Qigong practices, however, I believe this form is based on sound Qigong principles for health and well-being.
We suggest you check with your health practitioner before beginning this practice if there any health issues. Also, perform this practice in a far less exaggerated motion than the demonstration, which was displayed to clarify the motions.
Please take a look at my book on Qi and Body Awareness at shenrenqigong.com/new-book/
P.S.Please note, this personal practice awakened and opened my Qi flow. It works well for me for the last two decades; I make no claims to the benefits or that it reflects conventional Walking Qigong techniques. If you wish to learn a more traditional method of Qigong Walking, I suggest that you do not watch this video. Please be aware that there are thousands of forms of Qigong and many vary significantly. The master of this practice, whom I learned much of this movement from, was not from a school of Qigong, though he has mastery of energy movement based on a Japanese school of thought. When it comes to energy and learning from a master, whether it is conventional or not, I do not discard the techniques if they bring me results.

As a pendulum dowser and as a kinesiologist I would recommend rubbing your hands together until they are very hot after you have done a few sessions of these and then place those hands on the organs or places that your problems lie to redirect the energy to the right spot to speed up the healing process. I've been told by a Qigong master that it works like this but you can affirm this by using a pendulum or being muscle tested as per using a kinesiologist to confirm it.

My grandpa, great uncles, mom, and aunt have all died by the age of 42 of colon cancer and other family members had other kinds of cancer. I don't have much time left til that age, so I will be practicing this daily along with my other practices. Thank you!!! ✨💖✨

I’ve found it very helpful to wear shoes that are minimal/zero cushioning/support, then the feet make a more natural movement than with shoes with a raised heel and lots of cushioning which prevents one from feeling the feet-ground interactions. I love Xero shoes

What do you mean that the feet have their own brain? There are people who travel from village to village that are hundreds of kilometres apart in mountains in Mexico. They run all the way. Their running technique is bent knees and bouncing on the balls of the feet. My question is what about chi gong running? Is this walk for always? Or are there other walking styles that are beneficial?

There’s a Qigong practice I perform where you mentally go inward to actually feel the SPLEEN, pancreas, and stomach area on your left side. You can also gently vibrate, pat, massage, and shake the left side below the rib cage to help stimulate and feel these organs. Then you inhale and breathe out a long breath with the sound “whoooo”. As you breathe out, consciously release worry, anxiety, tension, and stress from these internal organs. Then you actually breathe in compassion and the color yellow on the inhale. These organs in our Qigong practice are supposed to collect the destructive emotions described above, causing health issues, and they need to be consciously released and cleaned out of the organs where they store. In Qigong theory, the mental intent becomes interwoven into the Qi field and that is how we release and then reprogram our cellular health. I believe some of my 2021 Qigong Class videos have this practice and also my book.

So happy you’re enjoying it. I have Reverse Abdominal breathing explained a little more in my book shenrenqigong.com/new-book/. Basically, we slowly, smoothly, and softly breathe in while gently drawing in the lower abdomen, just below the navel, this gently lifts the diaphragm, then we slowly, smoothly, and softly exhale, gently pushing out the lower abdomen. This technique builds Qi in Xia Dantien, or inside the lower abdomen, thus increasing your life force!🙂

I know there are many studies displaying how Qigong can help improve certain health issues. It seems that with many health issues, it is good to perform movements in a very slow and gentle fashion. Possibly, choosing to do some basic gentle Qigong practices instead would be less stressful for you than this Qigong Walking, unless it is done very slowly, and far less exaggerated than in this video. You may wan to look at some of my other Qigong Class videos. Of course, use your common sense and check with your health practitioner to be sure it is ok for you.
