I have a fixer upper I bought about 25 years ago.. huge house I have stackable washer dryer.. I diligently hunted -- found myself a stainless steel freestanding laundry sink, I had a couple of sliding shelves that went across the top made their detachable... so much nicer than those cheap plastic things...Laxvespa--LosAngeles ... much of the refurbishing materials were bought from removal companies locally.. my kitchen my like prehung expensive double French doors...

I would have nothing on the first floor, a bathroom, laundry room, just a place to park the cars. Steps and a elevator. Picnic table and catch the nighty breeze! I would have an elevator that stops on the roof.

You should check out Naples prices. My neighbors house is for sale- 2 bedroom 2 bath, no garage and no pool, 1.6M. We’re not on the water and a mile from the beach. The highest priced home in the area is 295M. Location location location
