Walking Tour of Lake Geneva, Switzerland in February 2024 | Lake Geneva

In today's video, we share Part 1: The Vistas (of beautiful Lake Geneva), Part 2: The Mall (called the Forum, located inbetween the banks of Lake Geneva and the town of Montreux), and Part 3: The Town (a glimpse of the town). Montreux is an easy one hour train ride from Geneva and it certainly did not disappoint. The view of the Swisss Alps is incredible and the walk along the banks of Lake Geneva was really spectacular. Those scanners are there for you to perform your own scanning and check out. Also some Migros Europe have started to employ AI-based freshness scanners that could eventually tell shoppers if a number of different fruits are ripe before they buy them. But that’s a different kind of scanner.

We both enjoy your videos. These days there are so many bad shows. Watching your channel is a breath of fresh air. Next time you go to Switzerland, go to Lauterbrunnen and take the cable car up to Murren, then hike down to Gimmlewald. Unforgettable. We’ve been to Europe many times and are there now with you vicariously.

I'm sending prayers for Tony's cough to go away. What I was surprised about - the palm trees/shrubs that would survive with snow-topped mountains. The mall was very pretty and interesting. If I lived there, I would go to that flower shop every week. I couldn't tell what the other stores were. Thanks for the descriptions. The walk around town was gorgeous! Thank you.

Thank you, Debby. I wish I had shot more footage of the town, but we were both sick during this portion of the trip. I was about 2 days behind Tony in my symptoms and my cough did manifest until the next day. So, the cough syrup turned out to be very helpful for the both of us. Yes, me too...lol!! Unfortunately, we were only there for a couple of days and really didn't spend much time in the town. The feedback is helpful though because it helps me for future filming to know what people like to see. I just shared a little bit of what we did that day and because we were both not feeling well, it was limited to walking along the banks of Lake Geneva. We did go see the Freddie Mercury exhibit which is what we'll be sharing about next and then we move on to Chamonix.
