Thank you Melissa. It is great fun exploring some of the "less well used" footpaths!

@@DaveFord I wished I could do that too Dave. I grew up and live still in Eastern Ky. My siblings and I would go exploring in the hills all the time and to this day when I see the sun shining through the trees I want to climb up the hills and see what I find. It is my fondest memories of my childhood and I feel that when I go walking along with you. Thank you again for showing me your beautiful countryside .☀️

Good workout for Logan and the old fella today! Got the lungs and muscles working! Lovely countryside Dave, I remember, must be 20 years ago now, doing a job in the village of Stoke Abbott, took about a half day, and as it was a gorgeous early spring afternoon, and always keeping a pair of walking boots in the van for such times, I parked up when I'd finished and walked up around Lewesden Hill. There weren't too many leaves on the trees then and the views were fantastic, like you said, Colmer's Hill and Golden Cap and a sparkling sea beyond. Brought back all the memories, so thank you.

Thank you. Yes, a fair bit of uphill work on that one!

One of my favourite parts of Dorset (though there’s a lot of those). Many years since I’ve been able to walk in that county, but so gratifying to learn it is still as quiet as ever away from the coastal honeypots. Thank you Dave (& Logan,) for another lovely walk.

Thank you for taking the time to make such professional videos that are equally as good if not better than most tv programs available. Me and hubby love walking around our local area of Dorset (Weymouth) and enjoyed a great walk today around 8 miles of Portland, lovely 😊

Thank you dave for such an interesting video about broadwindsor. The history lesson was spot on as usual and vistas superb. Hope you found another good pair of walking boots and have worn them in by now.😊

Glorious landscape, Dave, and the quality of your filming and photography shows it off magnificently. I also really appreciated the research you had done when talking about the village of Broadwindsor. Thanks again. This was really enjoyable and lovely to see Logan with you as always. What a gentle companion.

Liked the Logan moment when he chased his tail! The tales you told were super interesting too! I think I walked near Trent where Charles II returned to on my walk from Sherborne to South Cadbury. I was on the Monarch's Way there too. Super scenery too - thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you Jean. Oh yes , I hadn't spotted the "tail chasing"!

Many thanks for showing another terrific walk, Dave. It's amazing that there were not a lot more people taking advantage of such beautiful surroundings on a lovely day like that.

Thanks Jim. When you get away from the more popular "coastal" locations, there really are some quite peaceful & beautiful walks inland, around that area.

As usual, thank you SO much Dave - you and Logan had a lovely walk i feel. I'm local, only 3.5 yrs from Surrey, so i have not walked everywhere yet.....looks lovely. This is the second comment i have made for you as i subscribe; as i wanted to as your video's are always 'peaceful'. Thank you for your efforts as your History information is 'always' interesting - THANK YOU :)

Thank you Barry. I bought the bag off Amazon back in 2020. Still available now on Amazon for £29.99 . Description is : "autumndeer Laptop Bag 14.5 inch Mens Vintage Casual Canvas Messenger Bag Men's Military Leather Canvas Travel Briefcase Crossbody Satchel Shoulder School Bag for Notebook Laptop". I find it easier to "grab things" on the go using that bag rather than having to stop and take off a rucksack type of bag.
