When walle is damaged, he gives the plant to EVE, basically hes saying, renember when i broke my eye and I fixed it? I can fix myself back on earth. Thats why the robots try to go to earth, to save walle

I think its because he knows its ultimately more important that they get the humans back to earth. Basically "Don't worry about me, finish your mission". At least thats how I always saw it. And the lighter was I think to remind her there is oxygen on Earth, that it is able to be habitable

Pixar always does a great job at making masterpieces. This one having a strong message about the risks of pollution, of abandoning hope and not living healthily. While also including a story about love. All this with such minimal dialogue, beautiful.

Each robot had a directive. Wall-E was made to compact trash. Eve was to find a plant (signs of life) and Mo was to decontaminate. Mo kept following Wall-E around the ship in order to fulfill his directive of cleaning. 🙂 The cockroach is resilient and the running gag is that no matter what, they will survive anything. The Twinkie is said to have so much processed junk and preservatives that it will last forever. That’s why you see Wall-E feeding one to the roach. 😆😁

Ahhhh this movie! I'm so glad you liked it! After working customer service for years, this movie inspired me to finally bust out of that career and go to animation school like I always wanted! It absolutely floored me how much story and character could be told with very little dialogue. The "Define Dancing" scene is one of my favourites! Looking forward to the reactions to come, especially Spiderverse and Narnia!

Not gonna lie, I was once in your shoes when I had watched Wall-E. Unlike the other Pixar films, this one didn’t get me invested into the plot very well. By the time the story took us into space, I was intrigued from there to the end. Wall-E is charming and a good film in its own right, but in all honesty, it’s not a Pixar title that I revisit very often.

it took me also a little while to understand everything from this movie mainly bcs i watched it at a verry young age but With a little bit of logical thinking, knowledge about nature and space and watching the movie a lot of times. it's pretty easy to understand everything.

I feel in love with this movie. i was hooked due to my love of robotics and robots in general (among many a young boy's favorite subjects) and just absorbed anything WALL-E! toys, merch, plushes, the little shorts they made, They even made a life-size, fully working WALL-E at one point! i even built my own out of Legos and i still have it! it's next to my desk right now! i still love this movie and seeing this on my Birthday is just a treat.

Scene Fact: There was a deleted scene on the Garbage Disposal scene were instead of Wall-e had his circuit board fried, EVE was. But the scene was quickly replaced with instead Wall-e because the developers think it’s not possible for EVE to have her “Circuit board” fried from Auto.

Cody, Thank you for covering this film today. Now I know I'm going to have a good weekend. This is one my favorite films. I'm a 63 year-old widower who saw this for the first time about 7 years ago and fell in love with it immediately. Oh yeah, I cried. I was crushed when we thought that WALL-E was done in for. I just adored the "forever" love that blossomed between EVA and Wall-E. And all of the different "characters" really made this a great film. I hope you didn't miss it, but the story continues all throughout the closing credits by a series of still drawings that show what happened to all of the main characters once the ship returned to Earth. Just more good feelings tacked on to a "feel-good" movie. Thanks again for posting this today. While I may not always care for all of the films, I do always enjoy your reaction shows. Scott

WALL-E is one probably of my favorite Pixar movies. It's just so adorable the love between Eve and WALL-E. Plus the music is just so nice (aside from adding in Hello Dolly which is also nice to add into the movie cause musicals are fun XD). Their expressions can be seen even as robots and I love that. Sad to see the end of the animated movies (well the most popular known ones) but can't wait to see what is next!! And to see what comes in the future!

Wall-E. One of if not the best films ever made. The Pixar film with the least amount dialogue. Some of the best atmosphere building I’ve ever seen. The whole idea that one day the earth will be so screwed up in terms of the climate is extremely realistic and eerie. How they are able to animate the robots to be so expressive and charismatic with such little dialogue. The only thing I think could’ve been better was the Villain. Not by much though because Auto is still good. Just not fantastic. The character dynamics and behaviors are so cute. They nailed the designs too!! I can’t fret how excellently recognizable and timeless the designs are.

something i love about this movie is that some movies or shows show us the future, and it is always, like, high tecnology and flying cars, stuff like that. But in this movie they show the actual consequences in the future, which is kinda surpriseing if you think that this is a disney pixar movie. But this is one of the reasons i love it so much, omg

I know I'm late with the response, but very good point. Too many movies and series show this awesome, technological advances for the future, but while this movie shows it too, it also shows the consequences of not treating Earth appropiately.

@@sS0O0L Too very true. Many people remain hopeful about this awesome, technological future, when the reality is, there might not be a planet left to reach such a point. The other movies that demonstrate how bad the planet can get is Avatar, even though we don't get to see how Earth is at that moment. We do get descriptions though, and I do imagine that humanity is low and greedy enough to just find another planet to mess with instead of fixing the one we have left before it's really too late.

@@sS0O0L The Axiom was meant to be a cruise ship, but meant to find another planet if the Earth cleaning failed. AUTO could've avoided that too. Definitely an interesting possibility for the storyline, but still, the movie is perfect as it is. As cute and amazing the romance is, WALL-E is still one of my favorite movies not because of that, but because of the strong environmental message it sends.

Such a great movie not just cuz you can tell every emotion with very little dialogue from the 2 leads but this movie was very ahead of it's time in its deeper message about our over reliance on technology and how most people would rather take the easy way and ignore their problems rather then try and solve them. Take that on top of the echo friendly message and this is just a deep dark cautionary tale disguised as a silly robot movie
