Don't forget all the storytelling done with Gromit (who can't speak) and the titles to all the books he reads. That was such a cool device they used for the character.

Wallace and Gromit in addiction to be hilarious are works of art in an age of all CGI animation. Given Nick Park’s age and how long it takes to make a Wallace and Gromit film, this could be a de facto series finale for the lovable duo and what a finale it would be.

Watched it tonight; laughed a lot, and enjoyed it tremendously. If I was to make one criticism, it would be this: did Wallace _really_ make it through "The Wrong Trousers" without learning to appreciate Gromit more than this? It seems like the central conflict dynamic borrows more than a little from that earlier movie.

It's superbly made, and reflects the reality of the colonisation of Yorkshire. However, it peddles a fantasy of integration that doesn't match the parallel (or orthogonal) communities there. You will find Constable Mukherjee, but not talking like a native, or policing in native interests. And of _course_ it had to have Strong Blackwhamen Judge, voiced by the angriest and most bitter of professional victimhood race-grifters, Adjoa Andoh. "Don't think about it, it's for kids", goes the refrain, because propaganda works best on the young.

This film was so disappointing. They took a 30-minute film and stretched it out to 80 minutes. Horribly unfunny, boring, and stale - just not up to the standard of the previous W&G films. This in no way diminishes the outstanding work of the artists, animators and technicians. This is mainly a problem with the writing. Please return to the 30-minute format!
