Your husband is an angel. The things they do for love...my guy is equally devoted, give or take some grumbles along the way with the long list of chores with starting a new homestead...we are always right here beside you guys! Currently finishing the final touches to our summer garden here in SW Michigan, frost should be done and ready to put plants in the ground...I love the bedroom and the vibe is romantic in the way of being nostalgic. I’d call it mid century modern vintage ❤ looks like a gorgeous hotel in the country in the uk 🇬🇧 definitely extend the curtain poles a ft past the window so the curtains are on the outside of the windows and pleat them so they look absolute perfection honestly love that your staying true to the house

You did an excellent job choosing that wallpaper!!! It's perfect for that room! 😍😍😍😍 I couldn't help but cry when I saw your daddy. I'm so glad he's okay. My daddy passed away two years ago. He was diagnosed with leukemia one week before he passed away. He also had pneumonia, sepsis, and kidney failure. I know he's with Jesus and I'll see him again but I miss him like crazy.

If you don't want the texture to show through, you need to skim coat the walls so they are smooth before wallpapering. The print you chose looks sweet and homey. ❤

Hi! I just found your channel & I've been binging the videos ! Loving it! 👍 I saw the worms the kids found, and I just thought I would pass on some information I've recently found out about. It's not good news. But as along-time gardener, I was amazed I had never heard of this issue until I looked up for myself! Im only telling you because I think it's important to share this kind of information. So please forgive the negative overtones of my first comment on your channel ! It's about the worms. Maybe y'all naturally have VERY large earthworms? I mean, it happens... But just in case, it's worth checking that those worms aren't the invasive species which have been crawling across our nation for the past 100+ years, and even though they are extremely destructive, nobody is talking about them! The pictures online make it pretty easy to properly ID them. They're called Asian Jumping Worms. And they hang out in bunches, just like the kids found... They're extremely detrimental to any soil they invade! Somehow they change the whole microbiome of the soil, resulting in the soil having lost its important nutrients. It's incredible! Basically, they're the opposite of earthworms! And - They are very, very, prolific. I have parts of my garden where absolutely NOTHING will grow. Not even weeds. And when I started investigating WHY, that's when I found these horrible creatures! And the news gets worse. The adults will die when the cold weather comes. But... It's the eggs that are the problem. Each worm lays TONS of eggs in the soil, they don't even need a partner to make eggs! They're pretty much egg laying machines dropping at least 4 per week during the warm months! And the truly diabolical plan they have to insure the species survives is that the eggs are on a time released hatching schedule! I'm not even kidding right now! Some will hatch next Spring. Another percentage will hatch the next year. And some the year after that. It just goes on and on like that. There are even some scheduled to hatch many years from now! It's crazy!! This insures the species will always be hatching for many, many, years to come. I feel like it's a dastardly plan they have to continue to ruin the soil!! And the difficult part in permanently getting rid of them is that each egg is encased, perfectly sealed up, in a silk cocoon. Turns out this silk cocoon is 100% impenetrable!! Auhhggg!! No man made chemical can get to the egg. Deep freezing for long periods will NOT affect the eggs either! And if you were to feed these worms to your chickens or any other animal, the eggs inside that worm will simply be left behind wherever the animal "deposits" them. And that's just ONE WAY they get spread around. Since the eggs are in that bullet-proof cocoon, they have no trouble surviving the intestinal tracts of ANY animal !!! It seems the only thing they cannot handle is very high temperatures . Like - over 135°f ! To kill the eggs they must be heated over 135°f FOR THREE DAYS!! It's a big chore trying to cook you're entire yard IF they are everywhere!! And they really do ruin the soil. Their own worm castings are part of that ruining process. I could probably talk for days on this subject, but I'm going to stop myself here. You can easily find the small amount of information on the web. For some weird reason, they haven't been studied a whole lot, so there's still A LOT we have to learn about them. I truly hope you don't have them!!! But if you do... It's better to try and get a handle on them sooner rather than later!! Lets hope for the best!!! ❤ Anyway, I really hope those are the regular earthworms the kids found !! ❤
