Walt Disney's "A Tiger Walks" Season 12 Eps 22 & 23

From Season 12 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episodes 22 and 23: A Tiger Walks which originally aired in two parts on March 20th and March 27th, 1966. This 1964 theatrical release stars Brian Keith, Vera Miles, Sabu, Pamela Franklin, Kevin Corcoran and Una Merkel. It is the story of a small town's reaction to a circus tiger who escapes from an unfriendly trainer after being provoked.

FINALLY!!!!!! Oh, my goodness, I was JUST thinking about this film yesterday and wondering how I might be able to see it! I vividly recall watching this one as a kid and wondering when I'd be "lucky" enough to find a tiger in my neighborhood! Ah, the joys of childhood imagination! Thank God for folks like Walt Disney who knew just how to stoke that fire!

I remember watching this as a kid. Amazing how things haven't changed that much. People escalate things until everything is out of control by not listening to the experts. Just because they want to get themselves on the news. 😂 Thank you for all your efforts

I always enjoy seeing the pictures on the walls. Some of them are the same ones in movie after movies. George Washington for sure in the school houses. Blue Boy and Pinky. Abraham Lincoln and many others.

At last! “A Tiger Walks” is a very good defense movie with Brian Keith, “Psycho”actress Vera Miles and Kevin “Moochie” Corcoran. Between 27:13 to 58:57, I spotted Grandpa Dal ( I nicknamed him because of his already whitebearded!) McKennon, a man who wears grey suit, glasses and has a brown mustache. I known him very much, as a very kind and heartwarming grandfather alike for voicing many significant characters for Disney movies, Disneyland records and appear as Cincinnatus in Daniel Boone. Why didn’t I forget his also infamous voice of prospector for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad?! @stevemckennon2110 and @gmckennon

I’m always drawn to Una Merkel in this movie. Very different from her roles in Summer Magic and The Parent Trap! 🤣 Vera Miles is the most underrated Disney actress of this era.

Agreed. And the sheriffs daughter was so annoying I muted the parts where she kept going on about the tiger. Kevin Corcoran (Tom Hadley) should have been one of the lead characters instead.
