The process of passively losing weight is really a case of 'being' the active person. It is wonderful to see the recognition that sometimes it is the simplest things that can make the most impact. Less is more. Thank you for recognizing the identity shift and the importance of it in overall health. 🥰

It’s so fun exploring the city and new places in my country because of its extremely developed infrastructure. Another thing I tend to do if I don’t know what to eat is walk around the mall until I decide to eat at home or until I finally come to a decision since there are so many food options here.

The importance of getting enough protein and sleep cannot be stressed enough. In the absence of either, the body burns more muscle than fat, and that induces more severe hunger than if you were losing mainly fat.
@kenmendoza69322 ай бұрын
This is just a complete lie though. The body will burn fat first before burning muscle. Unless youre eating more than 500 calorie deficit, your body will rarely use muscle as fuel.

one way to imrpove the caloric burn during non excercise activities is to use heavier glass dishware, use non-electric cleaning tools, essentially reverting to less convenient times will bring your body to more active state.

It’s a lot easier to dance for fun at home than to follow a home workout. Even though in both times I sweat and get really out of breath. I actually started incorporating workouts moves into my fun dance time without even counting the sets. I just love moving my muscle and the idea that i’m working my body.

1 lb of muscle burns about 6 to 8 calories more per day than fat. So to get a 300 calorie deficit, you need to gain at least 35lbs of muscle. It might be easy to do if you are very young.

The answer is a lot more simple: eliminate all processed foods, all sugar (especially hidden sugars!) and focus on portion control! Cut out those lattes and cappuccinos, processed pot noodles, pasta and bread and so on.
@jdelane52 ай бұрын
Agreed - mentally, giving non processed food a different name entirely (edibles, consumables) helps me - and then equating the consumables with potatoes for example, helps me when I am tempted to go for processed foods. For example, converting the 3 or is to a whole potato. Or a Costco cookie to 4 potatoes or two cups of oatmeal or 3 big chicken breasts … having the mental conversion does wonders for me.

The chess tournament burning 6k calories is an often repeated myth, similar to the 10% brain usage myth. It doesn't even pass the sniff test. Imagine the thermogenesis that would occur locally. Chess players would need liquid cooling hats. Sun stroke symptoms would occur in less than 10 minutes

Ngl I’ve been struggling, the psychology of losing weight makes me crazy ! Been in this for almost 2 weeks and I feel like im gaining weight although I’ve been under 2k calories and im obese, I go to the gym everyday and the workout plan was made for me, I could show if someone wants to know, I also don’t eat chocolate or bread, no noodles ect. and I know I have lost weight, but my mind always tells me to eat less than 1k kcal. I’m so stressed, idk if someone can relate, I just need help or at least someone to tell me that it’s normal and that I just need to stick to the plan😩

Fasting is not for all. This takes a lot of effort and discipline and you have to be mentally prepared once you want to engage in this kind of practice. Many have failed and ended up eating up more. As what he is stressing, he is focusing on a passive way, something simple that you are not aware of, you just need to intensify this passive ways.

There is one God, who created Heaven and Earth. He made us in His image and likeness. He made us to worship and we chose to rebel against God. As a result we are seperated from God but God didn’t leave us. Instead God sent His one and only Son, His Son is Jesus. He was born of a virgin and lived a life without sin, though He was tempted in every way as we are. He went on the cross and He willingly took our sins past, present and future. Jesus died in my place for my sins, paying my debt to God and purchasing my salvation. Jesus died but He rose on the third day victory over satan, sin, demons and hell. Jesus tells us to share this story of the Good News and there’s a God that lovingly pursues us. Jesus is coming to judge the living and the dead and those who trust in God will forever be with Him in His Kingdom and those who do not will suffer forever in hell.
