The "A" here is better translated in EN as "whereas". This conjunction clearly contrasts two actions. While "while" also has that meaning :-), it is a little soft, and since it also carries the second meaning of "during", that dilutes it even further.

i always wonder about чтобы, like why the verb must be in the past tense afterward (not like infinitive, or future)?

It's not just past tense, altogether it's conditional tense. Like would - I would gladly visit Russia. It's something that is surreal or a wish. бы is just the verb to be - быть - but in conditional tense. Я читал/читала бы... - I would read... In this phrase with чтобы, the verb afterward is in the past tense because thats how you build conditional tense, that's it's building construction. Finite verb in past tense (читал/читала/читало) + бы . Hope this helped you understand.

Интересное наблюдение. Обычно так оно и есть. Когда говорят с "чтобы" обычно говорят о каких-то действиях в прошлом. Я сделал что-то чтобы ты сделал что-то. Но можно говорить в этой конструкции и в настоящем времени. Тогда будет - я что-то сделал чтобы ты что-то сделал (мог что-то сделать). Примеры: Я дам тебе денег чтобы ты купил хлеб. (т.е. подразумевается, что я жду что ты пойдешь за хлебом сейчас или чуть позже) Я принес бумаги чтобы ты посмотрел и подписал. Я купил яйца чтобы приготовить омлет. Я купил цветную бумагу чтобы сделать новогодние украшения. Я купил гирлянды чтобы украсить елку. Мне нужен нож чтобы нарезать хлеб.

In Russian actually most of letters can be pronounced as they wrote, so there are no really much exceptions. Below everything I remember: Ться and тся may sound like ца Играться - sound like играца Играется - sound like играеца Что, чтобы sound like што, штобы. As you mentioned, "го" as ending can be "во" Хорошего (хорошево) Играющего (играющево) And so on

It's better to serf internet for a while and found things you really want and know how to do.
