1.Improve your ball control 2.Constantly increase the tempo and the intensity of your training 3.Work on your awareness and scanning 4.Play as many high intensity matches as possible (matches you will have less time to think and are in tight situations where you can’t take many touches) 5.Improve your stamina 6.Improve your game understanding and decision making

One of main idea in this video is that pro players be already decided what to with the ball before it comes to them
@edl437410 ай бұрын
I don’t understand why kids are always lectured on speed of play. I feel that kids should be shown tempo of the game and decision making. Although young athletes should be able to play quick it gives players the wrong idea that everything needs to be fast. I have played in games where a teammates consistently give up the ball in an effort to play fast when they have simple options to play.
@Monotonous-Tedium4 ай бұрын
That is why it is important to introduce ‘speed of play’ strategically in an effort to minimise unnecessary mistakes and in fact more significantly, the element of frustration, confusion and self doubt. You’re right, of course it could easily be misinterpreted and misunderstood. It’s not advisable to encourage certain players to speed up their play if their mind and technical ability is struggling in the environment they are already in. Having said this, I’ve always found extremities to be very useful when trying to communicate something. It’s unanswerable really, because it depends solely on the individual player at a specific time. The most important thing is to give the player the tools to analyse themselves after situations go right or wrong. The sensation must be felt and realised by the player.

@@zahste5896 i think playing with good players is awesome if you cant attend in a adult match. For me, my city has many artificial turf fields where adults play so me and my friend just ask them whether they had enough players or not

Yes bro Bro if you dedicate a full year to improving your technical abilities, you will believe, especially your ball control (that's the most important) your first touch has to kill the ball every time, then you're good to go man I believe you can go pro man Remember Dedication!

There are some drills where you sprint intensely and it can increase your stamin probably in 5 sessions but they are very intense and can make you throw up for the first few times

Incorporate swimming in your training regimen. Your stamina will explode quickly and it's much easier on the knees than running.

@khad800 Жыл бұрын
I had a fear of getting the ball when I started training with a new team because of this, when there was an attack, I often lost the ball, gave inaccurate passes, to overcome the fear in training I needed to play a couple of matches and I became more confident on the field
