Meeting and short fight with Ulthane from Darksiders game (PC Version). Anvil's Ford location. Ulthane was one of the three conspirators that were the catalyst for the premature apocalypse, the other two being the conspiracy's mastermind, Abaddon, and the Angel of Death, Azrael. Ulthane's role was the creation of the Armageddon Blade, a weapon capable of breaking the Seals along with destroying that weapon and reforging the seals afterwards to erase the evidence. When everything went wrong and the forces of Hell won the End War, Ulthane hid himself upon the Earth for shame of his deeds. Death had a good go at Thane, just for the sport of it.... yet that is exactly what Ulthane did with War: have a good crack at him, for the fun of it.... Though Ulthane wás surprised by War's Chaos Form, beating him up! Were Thane was a máster at Arms in the Forgelands, and probably the gréatest warrior among the Makers, i expect Ulthane to be the most potential Aspirant Maker, to follow in Eidard's Footsteps? Alya and Valus were doing all they could to maintai nthe Maker's Forge, but Eidard never had enough time to groom them... Ulthane díd receive those teachings and knowledge...hence not only his nickname 'the Black Hammer', but also his role in the story: It was Ulthane who was skilled enough to reforge the broken Seals!! Which sais a lot, for a Maker being skilled enough to reforge even ONE of the Seven Seals, would mean that Maker would be skilled enough to reforge áll of Creation; The white Towers of the Seven Heavens, or the Black Thrones of the Nine Hells....The Seven Seals were crafted with more power and prowess, then the very fabric of Creation itself! And Ulthane was one of the very FEW left, that had that skill and knowledge!

Not only did Ulthane forge (and reforge) the Armageddon Blade, HE made War's Chaoseater, as well. Hence, the look of recognition in his eyes when he looked at War's sword. I'm not sure if this is a 100% confirmed, though.

So, I fucking love darksiders. But I’m confused about something: Is The Nephilim Pale Horseman, Death itself? Like, when the charred council endowed them with their power and titled them as Horsemen, did the go from being Nephilim(In darksiders:offspring of an angel and a demon) to entities that are incarnations of concepts? Like what are they now? Are they embodiments, personifications, or living Incarnations? Or are they still Nephilim with power over the concepts? Anybody know?

Epic Mormon Brony Ulthane is a Old One he's much older and far superior to Angels and Demons an Old One is so much older than Angels and Demons their souls don't even go to the Well of Souls when they die. When it comes to Ulthane there are not too many who can outclass him Archangels and Demon Lord can beat him but Angels, Angelic Champions, Demons, Demon Generals, no not at all.
