Reforging Armageddon Blade. Darksiders game (PC). The Armageddon Blade was forged by Ulthane at the request of Abaddon as part of his plan to destroy six of the Seven Seals to start the Apocalypse early without the Horsemen interfering as part of his plan to win the war against Hell. After Azrael used the sword to destroy the first six seals, Abaddon shattered the sword and scattered the fragments throughout the Destroyed City, hiding them in the Shadow Realm. War began the search for the shards after all of the Chosen are defeated and Azrael was freed from The Black Throne. His search began when he received a vision of the Blade from the Tree of Knowledge in Eden, along with its hilt. If you confront Ulthane before collecting the shards, War will tell him he knows of the plan he and Azrael helped Abbadon with before revealing Abbadon is the destroyer. Ulthane then offers to forge the horseman a weapon but War tells him that he will find the shards of the armageddon blade.

@Randy Because at the point of the game you got the armageddon blade, ChaosEater is nearly maxed, and got all it's potential unlocked, While the armageddon blade is "clean". It's like exchanging a level 50 weapon with a level 1 weapon of higher rank : not worth it if you don't have time to increase the weapon's level and unlocks it's skills

@@RoulicisThe but the Armageddon Blade does a lot more damage than Level 4 Chaoseater. The drawback is you can't use enhancements like War's Glory so it will take more time to generate Chaos to use Chaos Form. But on normal difficulty with the Abyssal Armor and Armageddon Blade, it's pretty much a walk in the park.

By the time I got the Armageddon blade in my first run-through I had the Abyssal armor, I knew where it was because I helped my brother in law in his first playthrough, I also maxed out Chaoseater and was in stage 3 of The Ravager, while my Tremor Gauntlet was in stage 1 1/2.

Definitely, this had an actual story. The second one was 10/10 the first few hours, the rest of the game was random drops and repetitive dungeons fetching 3 items. I’m supposed to be Death, why am I doing your grocery shopping? Disappointing final boss too. Meh
