I think the Japanese were cooked in this series the moment they failed to sink one or both of the carriers in the opening fights. Had one of them been sunk you'd have had a really hard time, as they did most of your heavy lifting early on.

What are you planning for the next War on the Sea campaign? I'll love to see the Regia Marina if there is a mod for it. They don't have carriers but with the airbases and the fact that almost all ships had a few planes it could be mitigated, and I'd like to see a bigger ammount of surface combat focus

To help slow the spread of fire on effected ships, I suggest you turn the ship in question to the same direction the wind is blowing. Alsoif you can, match the ship speed with the wind speed.

The critique I keep running into is you keep mistiming these torpedo and bombing attacks. You'll get a higher survival rate if those auto-attacks are timed closer together. That last attack is a prime example: don't send the rear formation to attack the front. You're better off doing a formation shuffle to split the front one off for the smaller group. That being said: I love this series and keep up the great work! Can't wait to see the next series as well.

I was asked to identify my favourite Admiral. When I said Andrew Cunningham, he was stunned. The inquisitor had assumed I would choose an American Admiral and had _no idea_ who Cunningham was. He went on to insist that there were no Allied forces in the Pacific other than the Americans and that no non American Allied service played a significant role _in the entire war_ other than the (undeniable) Soviet forces on the eastern front. This institutional Americentric historical revisionism has _got_ to be rolled back. Before you ask, yes, I _am_ bitter. I lost family in the war. How would _you_ react if you caught someone intentionally urinating on _your_ grandfather's grave?

@@ericmarvin9944 In my view, the best American fleet Admiral of WW2 was Ray Spruance. Halsey had many obviously outstanding qualities. So don't take my comment to mean he was not exceedingly capable. I just prefer Halsey's cold calculation and organizational skills over Halsey's unbridled aggression. The same reasons I prefer Montgomery over Patton. May I suggest you read U.S. Naval Institute's Halsey and Spruance: A Study in Contrasts. It makes an interesting read.
